Who you are
As an Accounting Specialist, you possess a sharp numerical acumen, operate with flawless precision, and naturally identify opportunities for process optimization. You are a collaborative professional who communicates seamlessly within a multicultural corporate setting.

• Hold an MBO+ or HBO (higher vocational) degree, complemented by relevant experience in financial administration.
• Possess professional business fluency in written and spoken English; conversational proficiency in Dutch is fully sufficient.
• Prior experience with SAP (ideally operating as a key user) is distinctively advantageous.
• Familiarity with NL GAAP, US GAAP, VAT regulations, and SOX compliance is considered a strong plus, though not a mandatory prerequisite.
• You need to live within travel distance of Kruiningen already and be eligible to work in the Netherlands.

What will you do
In this position, you will serve as a vital contributor to the financial integrity of our EMEA entities. You will manage diverse daily financial operations, interface directly with IT, and spearhead robust financial reporting and closing procedures.

• Overseeing accurate and timely financial accounting processes for multiple EMEA entities.
• Driving month-end and year-end closing activities, including financial reporting and consolidations.
• Preparing comprehensive VAT, statistical, and customs filings across various jurisdictions.
• Executing balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany accounts, and external audit preparation.
• Functioning as a SAP key user to support system management and optimize ongoing workflows.

You will join Lamb Weston EMEA, a global industry leader and pioneer in frozen potato specialties. From our headquarters in the Netherlands, we oversee all EMEA financial operations. You will integrate into a broader finance department of 25 professionals, working directly within a focused, high-performing team of 7 colleagues.

Who you are

• hbo working and thinking level
• excellent command of the English language. If you master a language from the APAC-region, that is a plus.

What will you do
Lamb Weston makes very tasty products from potatoes. And the whole world gets to enjoy them. The GBU team is also in charge of the APAC region. So the fries that come out of the factory in Kruiningen? They are transported via Bergen op Zoom on a container freight all the way to.... Sidney. And you understand that doesn't happen automatically. Orders have to be created, transport arranged and export documents prepared. That means planning ahead, sometimes making adjustments and always acting in the customer's interest. And that is exactly what you are good at. You derive pleasure from a happy customer! And so does Lamb Weston. Your daily tasks include:

• transport planning, creating outbound shipments, and managing documentation, including credit and debit notes.
• handling order entries in SAP and prepare export documentation for APAC clients.

Where will you work
You will join a very nice company. Lamb Weston believes in its people and likes to invest in them. The GBU team is a fine, international team involved in overseas transport. Within Lamb Weston, hybrid working is the norm. So about 2 to 3 days a week you work from the office, the other days you may work from home.

• Urenregistratie: Je ondersteunt bij het beheer en de verwerking van de uren in Dyflexis.
