As a Senior Electrical Engineer, based in Rotterdam, you run the projects that matter: complete installations, load tests with the loadbank and the faults nobody else gets solved, in the data centers of Rotterdam, The Hague and well beyond. You prepare the work, write the work plan, align with the client and with the manufacturer, and sign off on the handover. As work responsible person and installation responsible person you decide how the work is done safely and who may do what. Apprentices and assistants work beside you and you train them into engineers who can run a job on their own. Extensive UPS experience is welcome, but what counts is that you learned the trade in commercial and industrial buildings and dare to carry responsibility.

What you bring

Als Senior PLC / Electrical Hardware Engineer in Tiel werk je in de voorhoede van high‑tech robotica en machinebouw. Je ontwerpt en programmeert PLC‑systemen voor klantspecifieke productiesystemen die worden toegepast bij extreem grote constructies, van bruggen tot stadionbouw en zware scheepsbouw. As Lead Data Center Engineer you carry responsibility for a complete data center site, or for a defined part of one: full power infrastructure in Tier 4 data centers, from preparation and engineering through installation to handover. You build the planning and the phasing, spread the teams across the work and hold progress against what was agreed. HSE is not a side issue here, you set how the work is done safely and, as work responsible person and installation responsible person, you put that on paper. Towards the client you are adviser and point of contact: you think along on choices, align with the manufacturer that commissions the systems, and keep the process on site running as tightly as possible. No management layer above you, but a direct line to the leadership and influence on how First Case sets up its work technically.

The essentials: Salary €4.900 to €5.900 per month · 38 hours per week · Fulltime · Based in Wateringen.

As Lead you earn €4.900 at entry, rising to €5.900 through the CAO pay grades. This is the highest technical role at First Case: there is no higher up the technical path.

• Extensive experience (8+ years) as an electrical engineer or engineer in commercial and industrial buildings, with responsibility for critical installations
