De functie Als Senior Electrical Engineer maak je deel uit van een multidisciplinair ontwerpteam binnen de MEP-discipline (Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health). Je werkt aan uitdagende projecten waarbij innovatie, duurzaamheid en kwaliteit centraal staan.

Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het leiden van de elektrotechnische discipline binnen middelgrote tot grote projecten. Daarbij draag je zorg voor het ontwerp en de technische uitwerking van onder andere:

• Energie- en voedingssystemen
• Verlichtingsinstallaties
• Noodstroomvoorzieningen
• Elektrische distributiesystemen
• Brandmeld- en ontruimingsinstallaties

Je bewaakt binnen jouw discipline de kwaliteit, planning en het budget. Daarnaast vertaal je conceptuele vraagstukken naar volledig uitgewerkte technische ontwerpen en zorg je voor een goede begeleiding tijdens de uitvoeringsfase.

Je werkt nauw samen met collega’s uit andere disciplines en externe stakeholders, en stuurt teamleden proactief aan om projecten succesvol en tijdig te realiseren.

Wat breng je mee? Voor deze rol zoeken we een ervaren engineer die zich herkent in het volgende profiel:

• Een afgeronde technische opleiding op Hbo-niveau of hoger (bijvoorbeeld Elektrotechniek of Installatietechniek)
• Minimaal 6 jaar relevante werkervaring in elektrotechnische engineering
• Aantoonbare ervaring met projecten van verschillende omvang en in diverse marktsegmenten
• Ervaring met projectmanagement, inclusief budgetbewaking en kwaliteitscontrole
• Kennis van relevante software zoals Revit, Intelec, Dialux en Stabu
• Uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden in Nederlands en Engels
• Proactieve teamspeler met een professionele en representatieve houding

what will you do
As a Maintenance Technician, you ensure our production lines never miss a beat. You’ll be responsible for both preventive and corrective maintenance, keeping our equipment at optimum levels. Beyond repairs, you’ll support new equipment installations and participate in improvement projects. You’ll work closely with the engineering team and production operators to troubleshoot issues and maintain a high-quality environment. Your work directly impacts our ability to deliver medical solutions safely and efficiently.

As a E&I Maintenance Technician, you are in charge of ensuring the smooth operation of the production and utility assets at Leiden and Sassenheim sites by responding to and resolving technical malfunctions. Your expertise is key to maintaining diverse equipment, from utility systems and labs to complex biotech production (e.g., fermentation, filtration). You will perform this work in accordance with GMP guidelines.

• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration according to the weekly schedule.
• Carry out corrective maintenance and structured root cause investigations for equipment failures.
• Support site automation and participate in new equipment commissioning and validation.
• Train operators on asset care and ensure all equipment safety devices work perfectly.
• Maintain a clean, audit-ready workspace following 5S and GMP requirements.
• New equipment installation, maintenance and contribute in improvement projects.
