As Project Manager within Fleet Excellence PMO, you lead strategic and tactical initiatives that improve how Boels manages equipment throughout its lifecycle-from planning and procurement to logistics, availability, maintenance, returns and disposal. You create structure, connect teams and keep each initiative aligned with Fleet priorities and Boels' strategy.

In your day-to-day work, you manage scope, planning, budgets, risks and dependencies. You coordinate cross-functional teams consisting of specialists, Product Owners, Change Managers, IT and other business stakeholders across Fleet. As the link between business and delivery teams, you create alignment, resolve challenges and support timely decisions. You ensure that project outcomes are implemented successfully and deliver lasting improvements across Boels.

Your responsibilities

• Lead strategic and tactical Fleet initiatives within agreed scope, timelines, governance standards and expected business outcomes.
• Define project scope, objectives, governance, roles and responsibilities.
• Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, dependency overviews, risk assessments and mitigation actions.
• Track progress, benefits, risks, issues and dependencies. Provide clear reports, scenarios and recommendations to support timely decisions and escalation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and keep objectives, priorities, dependencies and expectations aligned throughout delivery.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and resolve project challenges. Work with Change Management and operational teams to turn project deliverables into adopted and sustainable ways of working.

This is what you bring

• A bachelor's or master's degree in business, IT, engineering or a related field. A project management qualification such as PRINCE2, PMI or Lean Six Sigma is an advantage.
• At least five years of relevant experience in project management, programme delivery or business consultancy, preferably in a complex or international environment.
• Confident with ERP systems, project planning and reporting tools. Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Jira, or similar platforms is an advantage.
• Proven ability to establish project structure, improve ways of working and deliver sustainable business outcomes.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Automation, Manufacturing Systems, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
• Approximately 10-15 years of project management experience, preferably involving technical IT, manufacturing technology, automation, or digital transformation projects.
• Previous experience working within the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry, preferably in a large and complex manufacturing organization.
• Strong knowledge of GMP requirements and experience managing projects within a GMP-regulated environment.
• Experience managing complex technical projects from planning and design through implementation, validation, and operational handover.
• Experience working in a matrix organization, coordinating specialists and stakeholders from different departments.
• Strong project planning, risk management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities while maintaining a clear overview.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with people at different organizational levels.
• Professional fluency in English.

The following experience would be considered an advantage:

• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, automation, SCADA, MES, IT/OT integration, digital manufacturing, or data platforms.

Met een indrukwekkende geschiedenis van meer dan 25 jaar heeft dit bedrijf een toonaangevende rol verworven in de wereld van dagelijkse zuivelproducten, die jaarlijks door ongeveer 40 miljoen mensen worden gewaardeerd. Als onderdeel van een internationale organisatie met 20 vestigingen, zetten zo'n 120 gemotiveerde medewerkers in Almere zich in voor de productie die 11 Europese landen bedient. In Almere bevindt zich een divers machinepark, dat varieert van ultramoderne PLC-gestuurde apparatuur tot enkele van de originele machines uit de jaren '90, die nog steeds operationeel zijn. Momenteel wordt er hard gewerkt aan de modernisering van de oudere machines, waarbij de monteur van de technische dienst een sleutelrol vervult. Het team van de technische dienst, bestaande uit de manager, supervisor, project engineer en werkvoorbereider, wordt ondersteund door 6 allround monteurs die zich richten op het onderhoud en het voorkomen van storingen aan de machines en installaties.

Als monteur technische dienst ben je actief in een tweeploegendienst van 7:00-15:30 en 15:00-23:30. Af en toe kan er op zaterdagochtend worden gewerkt, uiteraard in samenspraak met het team. Met een sterke nadruk op samenwerking en effectiviteit, staat de technische dienst paraat om ervoor te zorgen dat de productie vlekkeloos verloopt.

Wat kan je verwachten in de functie van monteur technische dienst?

• Je komt in het geval van een storing waar dan ook op de productievloer gelijk ter plaatse om met jou kennis deze storing z.s.m. op te lossen
• Samen met je collega's van de technische dienst bespreek je de ingeplande onderhoudsklussen en voer je deze uit
• Je geeft met jouw technische kennis advies aan de operators en productie medewerkers om samen met hen de eventuele storingen zo vroeg mogelijk te achterhalen en/of voorkomen
• Samen met de supervisor technische dienst en de manager technische dienst bespreek je eventuele verbeteringen in het productieproces

Jij bent binnen no-time de technische mechatronica techneut waar iedereen om vraagt. Jij als specialist krijgt ervaring in onder andere de food-, automotive-, energie- en metaalbranche.

• Werkzaamheden: Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het onderhouden van machines, je lost storingen op en maakt verbeteringen aan productielijnen. Dit kan variëren van werken met verpakkingsmachines, speciaal machines, machines voor de voedingsmiddelenindustrie, etc.
• Uitdaging: Door deze rol word je constant uitgedaagd en kan je jezelf in korte tijd ontwikkelen tot een echte specialist binnen de industrie
• Ontwikkeling: Door een eigen interne Academy heb je toegang tot vele vormen van cursussen en trainingen. Binnen 5 jaar kan je hier leren waar je ergens anders 10 jaar over zou doen. Je kan hier aan de slag als schoolverlater maar ook als techneut met ruime ervaring

In het eerste jaar word je ingezet bij 3 projecten bij verschillende bedrijven. Meestal voor een aantal maanden waarbij de werkzaamheden begeleid worden vanuit een vaste service locatie. Uiteraard worden projecten zo veel mogelijk afgestemd op de capaciteiten, reisafstand en interesses van jou als Monteur. Saai is dat zeker niet want ieder project is anders.

In vaste dienst krijg je een eigen leaseauto waarmee jij jouw opdrachtgevers bezoekt. Naast een goede techneut wordt er dus ook verwacht dat je flexibel, communicatief vaardig en een echte teamspeler bent.

What you will do:

• Be a key QC contact for customers, building trust, aligning expectations and sharing clear updates on testing, technology transfers and project milestones.
• Proactively connect stakeholders across QC, Manufacturing and project management, bringing the right people together and driving decisions and follow-up.
• Lead and coordinate QC technology transfers and new method introductions, drawing on technical experts to support production campaigns and clinical and commercial readiness.
• Maintain project plans, coordinate training needs and keep activities on track through changing priorities, dependencies and challenging timelines.
• Prepare, review and/or approve method transfer plans, protocols, reports and assessments, supported by technical experts and the QC Manager.
• Coordinate QC input into change controls, deviations, investigations, validation and audit responses, alongside stability studies and reporting where applicable.
• Represent QC in internal and customer meetings, communicate progress and risks, and improve ways of working while maintaining current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) compliance.

What we are looking for:

• Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to change and deliver against tight timelines.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills: you proactively reach out, build relationships and bring people together across a diverse team.

This is a hands-on role where you will work with cross-functional teams to design, build, deploy, and operate data and AI platform capabilities for solutions that impact and improve the lives of millions of people around the world. You will combine strong engineering skills with pragmatic judgment and ownership over production outcomes, ensuring that we do the right things and do them right.

What you'll do

Data platforms, data pipelines, databases, and data products

Design, build, and operate scalable data platforms, databases, and pipelines that ingest, transform, validate, and connect data from multiple internal and external sources, including messy, incomplete, and heterogeneous real-world client data.
Design and optimize relational, analytical, operational, and vector-oriented data stores for large-scale workloads, semantic search, matching, recommendations, and other AI-enabled capabilities.
Create reusable data products, canonical data models, curated datasets, and feature-ready assets for Data Scientists, product teams, implementation teams, and customer-facing applications.
Build in data quality, metadata, observability, and lineage so teams can trust the data and understand where it came from, how it changed, and how it is being used.

Cloud infrastructure and operational reliability

Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native data and AI platform components on AWS, using automation and infrastructure-as-code wherever possible.
Work hands-on with storage, compute, networking, access control, secrets management, monitoring, logging, CI/CD, orchestration, and deployment automation.
Ensure data and AI workloads are secure, scalable, cost-effective, maintainable, and supported by pragmatic architectural trade-offs across environments.

MLOps, AI governance, and responsible operation

Enable Data Scientists and AI engineers to turn experiments, models, prompts, embeddings, and retrieval pipelines into reliable production services.
Support automated workflows for model training, validation, deployment, versioning, monitoring, retraining, lifecycle management, and lineage across datasets, features, models, prompts, embeddings, evaluations, deployments, and production outcomes.
Implement monitoring and alerting for data quality issues, model performance, data drift, concept drift, embedding drift, and unexpected changes in production behavior.
Translate AI governance requirements into workable platform capabilities such as audit trails, approval gates, access controls, evaluation workflows, release controls, and operational dashboards.

Collaboration and technical ownership

Work closely with Data Scientists, Architects, DevOps engineers, Product Owners, and project teams to translate data and AI needs into maintainable technical solutions.
Act as a senior technical sparring partner on data architecture, platform design, MLOps, AI governance, operational readiness, and production support, with a strong focus on practical decisions that keep solutions understandable, supportable, and reliable over time.
Document data flows, model flows, platform designs, operational procedures, and architectural decisions so solutions can be understood, supported, audited, improved, and kept reliable in production.
Take ownership of production outcomes: not just building pipelines and services, but ensuring they keep working, remain understandable, and support the people and products that depend on them.

Core requirements

A completed degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, or another quantitative or technical field; a Master's degree is a plus.
At least 5 years of professional experience in data engineering, platform engineering, MLOps, cloud engineering, or a closely related role.
Strong experience designing, building, and operating scalable data platforms, pipelines, data lakes, or data products in production environments, including ETL development, workflow orchestration, data quality controls, metadata, lineage, and operational monitoring.
Strong architectural judgment and a pragmatic, hands-on mindset, with the ability to balance speed, scalability, cost, security, governance, reliability, and maintainability while taking ownership in complex technical environments.
Experience supporting production AI or machine learning services with monitoring, versioning, lifecycle management, reproducibility, deployment traceability, lineage, drift detection, audit trails, access control, and operational controls across datasets, features, models, and deployments.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS-based infrastructure and services, Python, Docker, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and production-grade deployment practices for data or platform workloads.
Ability to turn messy, incomplete, inconsistent, or fast-changing real-world data into reliable, usable, and well-documented assets.
Advanced SQL skills and substantial experience with database design, query optimization, canonical data models, scalable schema design, and modeling for complex business domains.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across Data Science, DevOps, Architecture, Product, implementation, Security, and Privacy stakeholders.
Professional-level English, both written and spoken.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with AWS data, compute, networking, security, monitoring, and deployment services, such as S3, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, EventBridge, Athena, EMR, RDS, Redshift, DynamoDB, ECS, ECR, EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Systems Manager, Secrets Manager, KMS, API Gateway, or AWS CDK.
Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Bitbucket Pipelines, AWS Lake Formation, AWS DataZone, AWS Glue Data Catalog, or lakehouse architectures.

Familiarity with lakehouse architectures, Data Vault Modeling, data mesh concepts, data contracts, master data management, schema registries, data lineage frameworks, metadata management, or enterprise data cataloging.
Experience with vector databases, embedding storage, vector indexing techniques, retrieval-augmented generation architectures, or semantic search platforms.
Full-stack software development experience or experience building APIs and services that expose data or AI capabilities to products.
Familiarity with frameworks such as GDPR, the EU AI Act, ISO 27001, and ISO 42001.
Ability to translate data governance, AI governance, compliance, and risk management needs into pragmatic platform capabilities such as approval gates, audit trails, evaluation workflows, release controls, and post-deployment monitoring.
AWS certifications are a plus.
