Are you well-organised, communicative, and do you enjoy working with drivers, applicants and colleagues on a daily basis? For a transport company, we are looking for a Planning, Recruitment & HR Coordinator.

This is a varied position combining transport planning, recruitment and HR responsibilities.

What will you be doing?

You will be an important link between the planning department, drivers, applicants and the organisation. You will support the daily transport planning while also being involved in the recruitment and support of employees.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the daily transport planning;
• Coordinating and supporting drivers;
• Communicating with drivers about schedules, changes and any issues that may arise;
• Responding quickly to changes or problems during the day;
• Contacting new applicants by phone;
• Conducting initial telephone interviews with candidates;
• Scheduling and following up on job interviews;
• Starting and monitoring the recruitment process;
• Contributing ideas for the recruitment and selection of new drivers and employees;
• Actively contributing to HR and personnel policies;
• Keeping personnel files complete and up to date;
• Checking whether required documents, information and certificates are complete and valid;
• Identifying missing documents or documents that are about to expire;
• Supporting other administrative and organisational tasks related to employees and planning.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who communicates easily, keeps a good overview and enjoys organising and getting things done. You enjoy working with people from different nationalities and are comfortable picking up the phone and taking initiative.

A large number of our drivers are Polish and Romanian, so a significant part of the daily communication takes place in English.

A good command of English is required. Speaking Dutch is not necessary. If you also speak Romanian, this is a strong advantage.

In addition:

• You work accurately and in a structured manner;
• You have strong communication skills;
• You are confident and able to give drivers clear instructions in a professional and friendly manner;
• You are comfortable working with different nationalities and cultures;
• You can work independently and recognise what needs to be done;
• You enjoy contributing ideas and taking initiative;
• You have an interest in planning, recruitment and HR;
• Experience in transport, logistics, planning, recruitment or HR is an advantage, but not essential.
