Functie-inhoud:

• Als Senior Lead Elektrotechnisch Ingenieur ben je verantwoordelijk voor het leiden van engineeringprojecten waarbij je planning, budget en kwaliteit bewaakt;
• Je ontwerpt en valideert conceptuele en complexe elektrotechnische systemen als Senior Lead Elektrotechnisch Ingenieur en vertaalt klantwensen naar werkbare oplossingen;

• Je stuurt projectteams aan en motiveert engineers en technici om projecten volgens planning en kwaliteitsnormen op te leveren;
• Je voert controlewerkzaamheden uit op ontwerpen en installaties en bewaakt naleving van relevante kwaliteitsstandaarden;
• Je werkt aan elektrotechnische en automatiseringsoplossingen zoals machinebesturingen, procesautomatisering en SCADA/HMI en vertaalt deze naar technische ontwerpen;
• Verdeling van werkzaamheden: circa 50% engineering en ontwerp, 30% implementatie en commissioning bij klant, 20% testen, nazorg en optimalisatie;

Functie-eisen:

• Minimaal HBO diploma richting Elektrotechniek of gelijkwaardig technisch opleidingsniveau;
• Aantoonbare ervaring als Senior of Lead Engineer in de elektrotechniek met verantwoordelijkheid voor projectleiding;
• Ervaring met bewaking van planning en budgetten binnen engineeringprojecten;
• Uitstekende beheersing van Nederlands en Engels, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk;

Summary of the role

The Associate Commercial Lab Engineer supports safe, effective, and efficient testing activities in the European demonstration center. Role and Responsibilities

• Support customer tests and demonstrations in the European demonstration center, under supervision.
• Assist with preparation, setup, operation, and clean-up of lab equipment for defined test scenarios.
• Follow established safety procedures and laboratory standards when working with equipment, materials, hand tools, power tools, and electrical systems.
• Document test conditions, observations, results, equipment settings, and relevant technical details accurately and consistently.
• Coordinate with senior colleagues, engineering, sales, and application specialists to understand test objectives and priorities.
• Help maintain the lab in a clean, organized, safe, and audit-ready condition.
• Execute basic maintenance tasks on the lab and demo equipment.
• Conduct basic training sessions for both internal teams and external customers
• Assist with tracking lab supplies, consumables, tools, and equipment readiness, escalating needs for replenishment or maintenance.
• Contribute to basic troubleshooting and problem-solving during tests, escalating complex issues as appropriate.
• Develop product and application knowledge across relevant Nordson ICS product lines.
• Support preparation of test summaries, customer-facing information, and internal updates as requested.

Skills and Qualifications

• Associate degree, bachelor's degree, vocational qualification, or equivalent technical training in engineering, mechatronics, electrical, mechanical, industrial, or a related technical discipline preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in a technical, laboratory, manufacturing, service, engineering, or customer-support environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to document technical information accurately and consistently.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customer-facing personnel.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Analytical mindset with basic problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies, products, and applications.
• English language skills required; German or additional European language skills are considered an advantage.
• Exposure to automation, electrical systems, robot programming, or powder finishing applications is beneficial but not required.
