Wat ga je doen?

Als toekomstig operator zorg jij ervoor dat industriële productieprocessen soepel, veilig en efficiënt verlopen. Binnen één jaar leer jij alles over het instellen, bedienen en controleren van machines, het oplossen van storingen en het verbeteren van processen.

Het traject bestaat uit twee fasen:

Fase 1 – Kennismaken met het vak

Je start met 1 tot 3 maanden werkervaring opdoen bij een erkend leerbedrijf. Zo leer je de werkzaamheden kennen en ontdek je of het operatorvak echt bij je past.

Fase 2 – Start van je opleiding

Als jij, je werkgever én Olympia positief zijn, start je met de opleiding. Deze volg je grotendeels digitaal vanuit huis (ca. 6–8 uur per week). De theorie sluit je af met toetsen en praktijkopdrachten op je werkplek. Bij een mbo-opleiding leg je ook staatsexamens af in Nederlands en rekenen.

Na afronding ben je klaar voor taken zoals:

• Instellen en afstellen van machines
• Signaleren en oplossen van storingen
• Kwaliteitscontroles uitvoeren
• Veiligheid en hygiëne waarborgen
• Aansturen van productiemedewerkers
• Meedenken over procesverbeteringen

Waar ga je werken?

Je gaat aan de slag bij een professioneel productiebedrijf in de regio Eindhoven, actief in o.a. Voeding, chemie of techniek. In overleg matchen we je met een werkgever die past bij jouw wensen en potentie. Tijdens je opleiding werk je fulltime in ploegendienst en leer je het vak direct in de praktijk.

Als Operator ben jij een belangrijke schakel in het productieproces. Je zorgt ervoor dat grondstoffen op de juiste manier worden verwerkt, machines goed functioneren en de kwaliteit van de producten op niveau blijft. Je werkzaamheden bestaan uit:

• Het verwerken van grondstoffen tot halffabricaten.

Als (Allround) Operator Heat Treatment bij onze opdrachtgever werk je in een moderne productieomgeving waar warmte- en oppervlaktebehandelingen worden uitgevoerd. Je werkt in een 2-ploegensysteem. De werktijden zijn van maandag t/m donderdag van 06:00 tot 15:00 en van 14:30 tot 23:45. Op vrijdag werk je van 06:00 tot 12:00 en van 11:30 tot 17:30.

Jouw belangrijkste werkzaamheden:

• Bediening van de ovens volgens vastgestelde procedures
• Opbouwen van charges volgens procedure
• Zorgdragen voor de juiste belading en vulgraad van de productieapparatuur
• Controleren en monitoren van processen en installaties
• Verrichten van lichte eerstelijns onderhoudswerkzaamheden
• Invullen van de juiste (controle-)formulieren ten behoeve van productie
• Melden van afwijkingen, storingen, onregelmatigheden en kwaliteitsproblemen

Doorgroei naar Allround Operator:

Onze opdrachtgever is specifiek op zoek naar een Operator die kan doorgroeien naar de functie van Allround Operator. Naast bovengenoemde werkzaamheden voer je ook coördinerende taken uit:

• Signaleren van verbetermogelijkheden en actieve deelname aan verbeterprocessen
• Coördineren van werkzaamheden binnen de ploeg
• Deels vervangen van de taken van de Foreman bij afwezigheid
• Begeleiden en instrueren van nieuwe medewerkers
• Breder inzetbaar zijn op meerdere afdelingen en processen

Waar ga je werken?

Onze opdrachtgever behoort tot de modernste warmtebehandelingsbedrijven binnen Europa. Er zijn circa 65 medewerkers in dienst. Het bedrijf is gespecialiseerd in het uitvoeren van warmte- en oppervlaktebehandelingen van metalen onderdelen om materialen de gewenste eigenschappen te laten verkrijgen of onderdelen met elkaar te verbinden middels speciale soldeerprocessen.

Als Procesoperator kom je te werken in een moderne productieomgeving binnen de tabaksindustrie, waar je in een 5-ploegendienst verantwoordelijk bent voor het bewaken en bedienen van het productieproces. Als Trek Operator leg je de basis voor snelle communicatie door optische vezels te trekken. Je werkt nauwkeurig en en zelfstandig. De voornaamste werkzaamheden die je gaat verrichten zin:

• De machines bestuurt: Je stelt de geavanceerde procesinstallaties in, bedient ze en houdt ze nauwlettend in de gaten.
• Problemen oplost: Zodra het proces afwijkt, zie jij dit en stuur je direct zelfstandig bij om de productie soepel te laten verlopen.

As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating different cutting machines and maintaining high product quality standards. You will ensure orders are cut accurately and processed on schedule.

• Cutting parts using various cutting machines.

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy work area.

Who you are

Are you a driven Drawing Operator with an eye for detail and a passion for technology? Do you see achieving the highest possible quality as a challenge, and do you enjoy working on your own development as well as that of the company?!

• Experience in process technology or the glass industry (is a plus);
• An affinity for technology and the motivation to further develop your skills;
• Working on the day shift (and willing to work in a 2-shift system);
• An MBO level 3 Operator diploma (Vapro A) or the willingness to obtain one;
• In possession of a VCA certificate (basic safety) or willing to obtain one;

What will you do

As a Drawing Operator, you lay the foundation for fast communication by drawing optical fibers. You work accurately and independently. The main tasks you will perform are:

• Operating, setting up, and monitoring advanced process installations;
• Identifying anomalies and independently making adjustments to the process;
• You speak English or Dutch good;
• Performing checks and first-line maintenance on the installations;
• Actively contributing to improvements, including through 5S and continuous improvement methodologies;
• Working flexibly across multiple production areas, which provides variety and opportunities for personal development.

Where will you work

You will be working for the world's largest producer of optical fiber, starting on the day shift (however, you will immediately receive the shift allowance to make it appealing). Flexibility is required for this new project, as operations will transition to a 2-shift system, and eventually to a 5-shift system once everyone is fully onboarded.

A 5-shift system means you will work 2 days from 06:00 to 14:00, 2 days from 14:00 to 22:00, and 2 nights from 22:00 to 06:00. After this, you will have 4 days off before your schedule starts over. Twice a year, the company switches to a 4-shift schedule, which offers less regularity in your shift pattern.

• Inbound: receiving incoming goods, unpack and sort products. (Physically demanding)
