wat ga je doen
In de Motorenfabriek van DAF staat een hypermoderne, automatisch gestuurde assemblagelijn. Hier transformeren we een kaal motorblok tot een complete, oersterke DAF-motor.

Samen met een hecht team van ongeveer 15 trotse collega’s ben jij verantwoordelijk voor een deel van de motor. De werkzaamheden vinden plaats op een lekker hoog tempo, waardoor je dag voorbijvliegt. Jouw takenpakket is praktisch en uitdagend

• Monteren met precisie: Je monteert cruciale onderdelen in of aan het motorblok. Denk hierbij aan de krukas, zuigers, nokkenas of de versnellingsbak.
• Aansluiten en afstellen: Je zorgt dat alle componenten perfect zijn aangesloten, stevig vastzitten en nauwkeurig zijn afgesteld.
• Werken met topgereedschap: Je maakt tijdens je werk gebruik van diverse moderne gereedschappen en geavanceerde machines.

Het DAF-terrein is ontzettend groot en ligt net buiten het centrum van Eindhoven. De productiefaciliteit in Eindhoven is dan ook: ca. 900.000 m2. In totaal werken er meer dan 7000 medewerkers op het terrein in Eindhoven. Zo werden er totaal in 2021: 60.000 trucks geproduceerd. Daarbij is DAF's nieuwe generatie trucks s bekroond met de titel 'International Truck of the Year.

what will you do
The DAF Engine Factory features a state-of-the-art, automatically controlled assembly line. Here, we transform a bare engine block into a complete, powerful DAF engine.

Together with a close-knit team of about 15 proud colleagues, you will be responsible for a specific part of the engine. The work takes place at a fast pace, making your day fly by. Your tasks will be both practical and challenging.

• Precision Assembly: You will mount crucial parts in or onto the engine block, such as the crankshaft, pistons, camshaft, or the gearbox.
• Connecting & Adjusting: You will ensure that all components are perfectly connected, securely fastened, and accurately adjusted.
• Working with Top Tools: During your work, you will make use of various modern tools and advanced machinery.

The DAF site is massive and is located just outside the city center of Eindhoven. The production facility in Eindhoven spans approximately 900,000 m². In total, more than 7,000 employees work on the Eindhoven premises. To give you an idea of the scale, a total of 60,000 trucks were produced here in 2021. Furthermore, DAF's new generation of trucks was awarded the prestigious title of 'International Truck of the Year.

wat ga je doen
Als assemblagemedewerker ga je aan de slag in de hypermoderne truckfabriek. Het terrein is gigantisch, van wel 125 voetbalvelden groot. Je werkt in een vast team van ongeveer 15 trotse collega’s aan een automatisch gestuurde assemblagelijn.

Samen transformeren jullie een los chassis of motorblok tot een complete, rijklare DAF-truck. Jouw taken zijn onder andere:

• Het monteren van cruciale onderdelen zoals de krukas, zuigers, nokkenas of de versnellingsbak.
• Het installeren van de motor in het chassis, het monteren van de banden en het plaatsen van de cabine.
• Werken met diverse geavanceerde gereedschappen en machines in een dynamisch en vlot tempo.

what will you do
Do you like to roll up your sleeves and work in a close-knit team? As a Technical Production Worker at DAF Trucks, you will be an essential link in the production process. In this active, physical role, you and your colleagues will ensure that production targets are met. And the most important part? Safety always comes first.

What will you be doing at the Component Paint Line?
Preparation: You will sort the metal parts and hang them up accurately, ensuring they are ready for the perfect coating layer.

Finishing: After the parts have dried, you will remove them from the hanging system.

Packing & Shipping: You will check, sort, and neatly pack the completed parts. After that, you will prepare them for shipment to the rest of the production line.
