Start jouw stage als dutymanager op Schiphol Airport en leer situationeel leidinggeven en financieel inzicht in een internationale en dynamische omgeving. Je bent de spil waar de dagelijkse operatie omheen draait, zit mij mt meetings en werkt mee in onze locaties aan landside en airside.

Jouw werkplek

Werken op Schiphol Airport betekent werken op een plek waar de wereld samenkomt. Binnen Vermaat runnen wij hier diverse bekende full service horecaconcepten aangevuld met verschillende coffee- en grab & go concepten. Van verse maaltijden tot snelle koffie: iedere brand en iedere outlet heeft een eigen karakter en overal staan kwaliteit, snelheid en gastvrijheid centraal.

We zijn volop in beweging, zo zullen er dit jaar nog twee openingen zijn en volgend jaar komen er daar weer een aantal bij.

Tijdens jouw stage werk je op meerdere locaties en leer je hoe je verschillende concepten aanstuurt. De dynamiek van reizigersstromen en piekmomenten maakt deze omgeving uitdagend en leerzaam.

Jouw team

Je komt terecht in een groot en divers team van horecaprofessionals. Samen met General managers, horecamanagers, supervisors en medewerkers zorg je ervoor dat alles op rolletjes loopt, bijvoorbeeld tijdens de ochtenddrukte bij STACH of de lunchpiek bij Wingstop.

Je werkt nauw samen met ons officeteam, bestaande uit een community manager, en planners

Je gaat leren hoe overzicht te houden in een grote, snel veranderende werkomgeving, teams aan te sturen en snel te schakelen tussen vloer en organisatie. Er is veel ruimte om vragen te stellen, mee te denken en jezelf te ontwikkelen.

Je bent beschikbaar op maandag t/m zondag en werkt tussen 4:30 uur en 23:00 uur. De exacte invulling van je rooster stemmen we af op de behoeften van de locatie en jouw beschikbaarheid.

Jouw functie

Als dutymanager Stagiair leer jij hoe je de dagelijkse operatie aanstuurt over verschillende Vermaat-locatie's op Schiphol Airport. Je bent zichtbaar op de vloer en ondersteunt bij het coördineren van meerdere outlets.

Je denkt mee en deelt je bevindingen met onze general managers

Je houdt overzicht, stuurt bij waar nodig en zorgt ervoor dat gasten de beste service ervaren. Daarnaast denk je mee over verbeteringen en leer je hoe je processen optimaliseert.

• Aansturen en begeleiden van medewerkers;
• Meewerken in de operatie;
• Bewaken van kwaliteit en service;

• Je volgt een hbo-opleiding in hospitality, hotelmanagement of facility management;
• Je hebt affiniteit met horeca en gastvrijheid;
• Je bent proactief, leergierig en neemt initiatief;
• Je kunt goed schakelen in een dynamische omgeving;
• Je bent communicatief sterk en een teamplayer;
• Je bent flexibel inzetbaar (ook avonden en weekenden).

Dit ga je doen als Painter Superyachts

The Yacht Painters department ensures that the interior and exterior of the superyachts are finished with a high-quality paint system and a flawless topcoat. The department consists of Foremen, Work Planners, QC/QA staff, and specialists.

As a Superyacht Painter, you'll deliver top-quality work. Your responsibilities include:

• Applying smooth layers of filler and spray work that meet the specific Feadship standards and quality requirements.
• Spraying, priming, filling, staining, lacquering, and topcoating designated areas onboard and/or assigned (loose) components and furniture of the superyacht.
• Working independently while being part of a team, always ensuring the quality of your work.
• Maintaining order, cleanliness, health & safety standards, and taking action when necessary.

Dit breng je mee

• MBO level 3 or 4 (Intermediate vocational education) in a relevant field such as painting, industrial finishing, coatings specialist, or similar.
• Relevant knowledge and hands-on experience with high-quality filler and spray work.
• Experience with various paint types, techniques, and systems.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Serve as an operations specialist in one major area of CE operations (e.g., electrical, mechanical, controls, generators) and works on advanced tasks independently.
• Inspect and supervise critical environment-related facility equipment (e.g., controls, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning [HVAC], mechanical systems), building, and grounds regularly for unsafe or abnormal conditions and escalate per applicable policies and standards.
• Utilize internal computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track all equipment assets and to complete work order requests for maintenance work.
• Safely and quickly respond to and lead onsite incident response teams for all abnormal conditions that impact operations, and coordinates with other critical facilities professionals to perform corrective repairs, without supervision.
• Enhance, develop new or follow preexisting emergency operating procedures (EOPs), methods of procedure (MOPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs) in relation to CE operations and incidents.
• Under minimal oversight, perform various types of maintenance (e.g., planned, predictive, corrective) and repairs following methods of procedure (MOPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for one or more types of equipment (e.g., electrical, mechanical, cooling systems), correct procedures.
• Have a hands-on understanding of how equipment works and how to troubleshoot equipment, systems, subsystems, and components independently within their trained discipline.
• Provides consultation to lower-level colleagues in troubleshooting systems and problems.
• Understands, follows, and ensures safety and security requirements (e.g., job hazard assessments [JHAs], environmental health and safety (EH&S), toolbox talks), and business processes and procedures to properly perform work in a safe, quality, and reliable within Microsoft requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent AND mission critical services work/applied learning experience (e.g., high availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or related fields) - OR equivalent experience.

Background Check Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

While not required, we also look for the following Preferred Qualifications:

Critical Environment Ops ATR-B - The typical base pay range for this role across Netherlands is € 42,600.00 - € 55,000.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
