For this position, we are looking for a hands-on finance professional who understands how operational activities within a manufacturing company translate into inventory values, product costs and financial results. You bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics or a comparable field;
- Approximately 5–10 years of relevant experience in inventory accounting, product costing or manufacturing finance;
- Hands-on experience with the valuation of purchased and internally manufactured materials;
- A good understanding of standard costing, actual costing and month-end costing processes;
- Experience within a manufacturing or production environment;
- Strong SAP knowledge in an integrated manufacturing-finance environment, including SAP FI/CO, Product Costing or Material Ledger;
- The ability to understand the end-to-end flow from purchasing and production through inventory, sales and financial reporting;
- Experience analysing manufacturing variances and their impact on inventory, COGS and profitability;
- Advanced Excel skills and professional fluency in English;
- Strong analytical skills, ownership and a structured approach to problem-solving.
Experience with SAP allocation cycles, profitability reporting, CO-PA, controlling master data or SAP S/4HANA is strongly preferred.
German proficiency at B2 level or above is also strongly preferred because of the initial collaboration with the German finance team. Candidates without German may nevertheless be considered if their overall technical profile is an excellent match. Power BI, IFRS knowledge and Dutch language skills are considered advantages.
Benefits
Our client offers:
- A direct permanent employment contract;
- A 13th-month payment and 8% holiday allowance;
- 25 vacation days and 9 additional ATV days based on full-time employment;
- A pension scheme largely funded by the employer;
- Reimbursement of travel expenses;
- Flexible working hours;
- A hybrid working arrangement, with the option to work from home two to three days per week;
- Internal training and development opportunities, including Power BI training;
