Bij Covetrus draait alles om het ondersteunen van dierenartsenpraktijken. Vanuit ons warehouse in Cuijk zorgen wij er iedere dag voor dat diergeneesmiddelen, dieetvoeders, medische disposables en instrumentarium op tijd en correct bij onze klanten terechtkomen. Dat kunnen we alleen met een team dat op elkaar kan bouwen.

Daarom zoeken wij geen teamlead die alleen van afstand aanstuurt. Wij zoeken iemand die tussen de mensen staat. Iemand die ziet wat er nodig is, de handen uit de mouwen steekt, duidelijkheid geeft en samen met het team wil bouwen aan een fijne, veilige en sterke werkomgeving.

Over de functie
Als Warehouse Teamlead ben jij een belangrijke schakel in ons logistieke proces én in het team. Jij zorgt ervoor dat de dagelijkse operatie goed loopt, maar je doet dat niet door alleen te delegeren. Je bent zichtbaar op de vloer, weet wat er speelt en helpt waar nodig mee om het werk gedaan te krijgen.

Je brengt structuur, rust en energie. Je luistert naar je collega's, neemt eerlijke beslissingen en zorgt dat mensen zich gezien en gewaardeerd voelen. Tegelijkertijd houd je de kwaliteit, productiviteit en veiligheid goed in de gaten. Samen met je team werk je aan een soepel warehouseproces en aan een team waar mensen graag onderdeel van zijn.

Je werkt in zowel de dag- als avonddienst.

Wat ga je doen?
In deze rol geef je leiding aan een team van vaste en flexibele magazijnmedewerkers. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de dagelijkse aansturing, planning en voortgang van de werkzaamheden. Daarbij ben je niet bang om zelf mee aan te pakken wanneer de situatie daarom vraagt.

Jouw werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

• Dagelijks aansturen, begeleiden en motiveren van magazijnmedewerkers.

• Zichtbaar aanwezig zijn op de vloer en actief meewerken wanneer dat nodig is.

• Zorgen voor een goede verdeling van het werk en een duidelijke personeelsplanning.

• Bewaken van kwaliteit, productiviteit, veiligheid en voortgang.

• Signaleren en oplossen van verstoringen in het logistieke proces.

• Coachen van medewerkers en voeren van gesprekken over functioneren, ontwikkeling en verzuim.

• Stimuleren van samenwerking, eigenaarschap en een positieve werksfeer.

• Luisteren naar het team en zorgen voor eerlijke, duidelijke communicatie.

• Meedenken over verbeteringen in processen, werkwijzen en samenwerking.

• Toezien op naleving van milieu-, Arbo-, GDP- en GMP-voorschriften.

• Opstellen en analyseren van rapportages over productiviteit en kwaliteit.

• Optreden als Bedrijfshulpverlener, of bereid zijn dit te worden.

• Ervaring met warehouseprocessen en dagelijkse logistieke operatie.

• Kennis van WMS- en/of ERP-systemen, of de bereidheid dit snel eigen te maken.

• Affiniteit met rapportages, planning en procesverbetering.

• Goede communicatieve vaardigheden.

In the outbound department all products are brought to the right location. This is done with an EPT, reachtruck or forklift. On outbound they also make sure products are ready for shipment. Put everything neatly on a pallet, seal and label everything. Great! Everything is running smoothly. If there’s a problem, you’ll make sure it gets resolved. You’ll also communicate with the teamleader. One thing is certain: your job will never be boring! 😉

Where will you work
You’re going to be working at Samsung in Tilburg. The warehouse is quite informal, so you’ll get to know your coworkers in no-time! Enjoy a fresh sandwich during lunchtime in the canteen. And if you like it: they sometimes organize something fun like a ping-pong tournament!
