wat ga je doen
Als Engineer Additive Manufacturing ben je verantwoordelijk voor het volledige proces: van klantintake en advies tot realisatie en kwaliteitscontrole. Je vertaalt klantbehoeften naar maakbare oplossingen en zorgt ervoor dat elk prototype voldoet aan de hoogste kwaliteitseisen.
- Aannemen en
- uitvoeren van opdrachten voor het 3D-printen van technische producten en
- onderdelen
- Adviseren van (interne) klanten over geschikte printtechnieken en materialen
- Voorbereiden, aanpassen en repareren van 3D-bestanden
- Voorbereiden, intstellen en uitvoeren van 3D-printmachines, inclusief de gehele nazorg van de opdrachten

who are you
Are you an analytical thinker who loves solving complex technical puzzles? We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic student who thrives both independently and in a dynamic team setting.
- You are a Master’s student pursuing Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- You have a strong command of the English language both verbal and written.
- You have experience with ANSYS CFD packages, including CAD.
- You have experience with Python or MATLAB.
- You have analytical problem-solving skills.
what will you do
During this 6-month internship, you will step into our Drug Product Development and Delivery department. You will develop computational tissue models to simulate local drug delivery for future protein, gene, and cell therapies. By using imaging data and tissue properties like stiffness and porosity, you will map out how drugs distribute and retain in targeted areas. Working alongside experienced scientists, your predictive models will help optimize clinical injection procedures and guide future formulations.
- Conduct high-level simulations using CFD tools to optimize biomedical processes and systems.
- Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to interpret and align simulation results with business objectives.
- Evaluate tissue models under varying injection parameters to overcome drug delivery barriers.
- Gather insights into how advanced engineering applications drive healthcare innovations.
- Manage daily project tasks independently while contributing actively to your immediate teamwork setting.
