Als manufacturing engineer is dit de kern van je rol bij onze partner in Ijzendijke waar ze werken aan high-end lifescience-producten waar iedereen van op aan kan. Je bent te vinden op kantoor en op de de productievloer. Samen met je 15 andere collega's werk je op de Design Transfer afdeling.

Heb jij een relevante afgeronde hbo-opleiding of vergelijkbaar door ervaring in de richting van Elektrotechniek, Mechatronica, Embedded systems engineering of Werktuigbouwkunde? Dan komen we graag met je in contact. Recent afgestudeerd of al wat ervaring, beide is welkom.

wie ben jij
Voor deze functie zijn we op zoek naar een Manufacturing Engineer met een analytisch inzicht en weet wat er komt kijken bij productontwikkeling. Daarnaast herken jij jezelf in het volgende:

• Je hebt een relevante afgerond HBO-opleiding, zoals Elektronica, IT, Mechatronica of Biomedical Engineer;
• Werk/stage ervaring met productontwikkeling en -assemblage inclusief lezen en interpreteren van tekeningen, schema’s en layouts;
• Je kan werken met kwaliteitssystemen en procedures;
• Je beheerst en spreekt de Nederlandse en Engelse taal;
• Je hebt een kritisch denkvermogen om situaties te evalueren, problemen te identificeren en creatieve oplossingen te bedenken.

wat ga je doen
Tijdens je werkzaamheden werk je afwisselend op kantoor en op de productievloer op de afdeling Design Transfer. Je hebt een belangrijke rol in het vertalen van mechatronische ontwerpen naar een schaalbare productie, en begeleidt dit proces van eerste prototype tot seriematige productie. Dit gaat niet zonder het opstellen van documentatiesets, stuklijsten in te voeren, werkinstructies te maken en procesvalidaties uit te voeren. Het is aan jou om de geavanceerde techniek te doorgronden en het vertalen van de complexe processen naar duidelijke stappen. Je hebt veel verantwoordelijkheid en je krijgt daarbij de ruimte om zelf initiatief te nemen.

Samengevat:

• Het samenwerken met verschillende afdelingen, zoals R&D, kwaliteitscontrole, inkoop en sales om productieproblemen op te lossen en nieuwe producten te introduceren;
• Het opstellen en beheren van technische documentatie en werkinstructies voor productiepersoneel;
• Het vertalen van productontwerpen naar haalbare productieprocessen;
• Het identificeren en implementeren van verbeteringen in bestaande productieprocessen.

waar ga je werken
Onze partner is gespecialiseerd in de productie van medische apparatuur. Hierbij moet je denken aan de beste technologie waarmee patiënten worden geholpen. Verder gaat het ook om hoogwaardige instrumenten waar medici gebruik van maken om de meest succesvolle behandeling te geven. Er werken hier meer dan 100 werknemers met ieder een passie voor technische ontwikkelingen.

• Marktconform salaris tussen € 2.989,00 en € 4.526,00 (op basis van jouw opleiding en werkervaring);
• Een jaarcontract voor 38 uur (32 uur is een optie) met zicht op een vast dienstverband;
• Pensioenopbouw bij ASR;
• 35 vakantiedagen bij een fulltime dienstverband;
• De mogelijkheid om, in overleg, (deels) thuis te werken;
• Reiskostenvergoeding;

who are you
You are a tech-driven professional with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for high-performance hardware. With a solid foundation in the computer industry, you don't just see a server—e.g., you see the intricate assembly and the quality behind every component.
What you bring to the table:

• A BS degree or higher (preferred), backed by 5+ years of hands-on experience in the computer industry.
• You have a rock-solid understanding of server and computer system assembly.
• You are experienced in mechanical basics and have a proven track record in testing and inspecting electronic components.
• You combine strong analytical thinking with advanced computer skills to solve complex challenges.

what will you do
As our Production Manager, you are the heartbeat of the facility. You don’t just watch the lines; you own them. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of all production processes, ensuring every product that leaves our floor meets the highest quality standards.
You will be responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output. We expect you to have deep know-how in production procedures. Ability to direct personnel towards maximum performance will set you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will take up a great part of your day.

• Oversee the entire production process and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). You are responsible for driving quality yields, inventory control, and overall production efficiency.
• Manage and inspire your team—including production engineers and technical specialists—ensuring everyone is aligned with corporate policies and performance standards.
• Be the catalyst for change. You will lead initiatives to improve efficiency within every production function and drive continuous improvement across all operations.
• Ensure all production tools, jigs, and testing equipment are maintained at optimal inventory levels, specifically for new product launches.
• Strategically determine and allocate the resources necessary to meet our ambitious production goals.
• Reduce quality errors by conducting impactful training for new hires and implementing cycle training for the existing team.
