In this Sales Engineer role, you will translate customer needs into Yokogawa process control, instrumentation, and automation solutions, supporting business growth. You will partner with Account Management and internal teams to develop competitive proposals and deliver technical expertise across the sales cycle. You'll help customers improve performance, reliability, and efficiency using Yokogawa technologies. This position blends technical rigor with commercial insight in a global, collaborative environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to shape value-driven solutions that meet real customer challenges, contributing to a sustainable future.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Understand customer requirements and RFQs with Account Managers
• Translate needs into Yokogawa solutions and develop technical proposals
• Create solution concepts, configurations, and quotation documentation
• Provide technical expertise on process control, instrumentation, and automation
• Identify opportunities to improve customer performance and efficiency
• Prepare competitive technical and commercial proposals aligned with sales strategy
• Support cost calculations, pricing, and quotation documents
• Identify risks, assumptions, deviations, and constraints and escalate as needed
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate feasibility, scope, costs, and delivery
• Support bid clarifications, revisions, and technical discussions
• Participate in customer/EPC meetings and present proposed solutions
• Deliver technical presentations and product explanations
• Assist Account Managers in relationship building and opportunity discovery
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners for solution delivery
• Ensure accurate documentation and smooth handover to Delivery team
• Maintain up-to-date CRM records and sales dossiers
• Share market insights with relevant teams
• Strengthen product knowledge and proposal quality

Belangrijkste vereisten

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related technical discipline

• Experience in technical sales, sales engineering, or similar customer-facing role

• Knowledge of industrial automation, process control systems, and instrumentation

• Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate requirements into solutions

• Understanding of commercial proposals, quotations, costing, and sales process aspects

• Experience collaborating with customers and multidisciplinary teams in technical environments

• Good written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage

As a Senior AI Consultant at SQLI, you guide clients through AI-driven modernization, translating complex needs into strategic, measurable AI solutions. You will lead engaging workshops, shape proposals, and drive organisational change to adopt AI at scale. You act as the senior SQLI voice in client rooms, collaborating with architects, engineers, and sales to deliver high-impact outcomes. You'll help shape new accelerators and reusable IP, contributing to SQLI's leadership in AI offerings.

• Analyze client context to identify AI-driven value and root causes
