Wat je gaat doen

Als assistent accountant werk je dagelijks met de financiële gegevens van verschillende mkb-ondernemers. Daardoor is je werk afwisselend en krijg je een kijkje achter de schermen bij verschillende bedrijven. Je begint bij de cijfers. Je controleert administraties, stelt jaarrekeningen op en zorgt dat financiële rapportages kloppen. Maar jouw rol gaat verder dan alleen verwerken en controleren. Valt je iets op? Dan ga je onderzoeken waar dit vandaan komt. Naarmate je groeit in jouw functie, leer je steeds beter om financiële informatie te vertalen naar aandachtspunten en kansen voor de ondernemer.
Je houdt je onder andere bezig met:

• Controleren en verwerken van financiële administraties;
• Opstellen van jaarrekeningen en rapportages;
• Signaleren van financiële kansen en bijzonderheden;
• Ondersteunen bij financiële en bedrijfskundige vraagstukken;
• Opbouwen van zelfstandig klantcontact en een eigen klantenportefeuille.

Je krijgt daarbij niet vanaf dag één alles zelf op je bord. Ervaren collega's begeleiden je en zijn beschikbaar voor vragen. Heb je bepaalde werkzaamheden eenmaal onder de knie? Dan krijg je steeds meer vrijheid en verantwoordelijkheid. Zo bouw je niet alleen jouw financiële kennis verder uit, maar ontwikkel je ook jouw vaardigheden in klantcontact en advisering.

Wat we je bieden

Jouw ontwikkeling staat centraal. Je krijgt de ruimte om nieuwe werkzaamheden te leren en steeds zelfstandiger te worden.
Daar staat het volgende tegenover:

• Een salaris tot €4.500 bruto per maand op fulltime basis, afhankelijk van kennis en ervaring;
• Direct een contract bij de werkgever;
• Een werkweek van 28 tot 40 uur;
• €0,23 reiskostenvergoeding per kilometer en pensioenopbouw vanaf jouw eerste werkdag;
• Ruime mogelijkheden voor opleidingen en verdere ontwikkeling;
• Persoonlijke begeleiding en doorgroeimogelijkheden.

Functie-eisen

Je bent nieuwsgierig, commercieel ingesteld en vindt het leuk om verschillende werkzaamheden op te pakken. Daarnaast wil je jezelf graag verder ontwikkelen.
Verder:

• Heb je minimaal mbo 4 werk en denkniveau;
• Heb je bij voorkeur een opleiding richting commercie, marketing of informatica;
• Ben je communicatief sterk en commercieel ingesteld;
• Werk je nauwkeurig en kun je goed schakelen;
• Beheers je de Nederlandse en Engelse taal.

Heb je een mbo achtergrond? Dan is enige relevante werkervaring gewenst. Ervaring met Exact of WooCommerce en affiniteit met techniek of digitale systemen zijn mooi meegenomen.

Over het bedrijf

Je gaat werken bij een kleine en platte organisatie in Hengevelde. De sfeer is professioneel, open en ongedwongen. Doordat de lijnen kort zijn, kun je gemakkelijk bij collega's terecht en krijg je veel mee van verschillende onderdelen van het bedrijf. Vanaf jouw eerste werkdag word je persoonlijk begeleid. Ook is er een geschreven handleiding die je helpt om de werkzaamheden en processen stap voor stap te leren kennen. Naarmate je meer ervaring opdoet, krijg je steeds meer verantwoordelijkheid. Er zijn verschillende mogelijkheden om vanuit deze functie door te groeien naar andere commerciële functies. De werklocatie in Hengevelde is goed bereikbaar vanuit onder andere Goor, Haaksbergen, Delden, Neede, Borculo en Hengelo.

About this role

The P2P Accounts Payable Specialist role is located in the Purchase-to-Pay department/pillar within our Global Finance Operations. He is responsible for all Accounts Payable/P2P tasks (booking invoices, payments, Ageing reports, BSARs) related to 1 or multiple legal entities/business units. He is also responsible for supporting the RTR accountants and the senior management when needed.

The P2P Accounts Payable Specialist doesn't have direct reports and is responsible for ensuring that priorities and deadlines are being respected.

These are some of the key components of the position:

• Book supplier invoices/credit notes in the system
• Jira ticket management within turnaround time for the assigned entities (business requests)
• Ensure suppliers' requests are answered on a timely basis
• Ensure supplier payments are created on a timely basis
• Run the Aging Payables Report & Account Certification on a timely basis.
• Collaborate with the Senior Support Specialist on Match Exception/Invoice Verification
• Collaborate with Governance Lead -P2P on SOPs/Procedure.
• Proactively identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and effectiveness
• Collaborate and support the Team Lead - P2P with rollout projects/others

What will you bring to the team?

• Self-Starter and organised
• University degree desired (Accounting/Finance degree)
• 0-4 years of experience and understanding of Finance Operations
• Understanding of Global Finance Operations practices and relevant functional areas (i.e. Quote to Cash, Source to Pay, Project to Result,.)
• Proficient in ERP (preferably Workday), MS Suite, and Google suite
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and excellent communication skills, proficient in the English language.
• Ability to problem-solve and prioritise
• Good data analytics skills set
