who are you

To keep the warehouse running, it is important that you, as an orderpicker, meet the following requirements:

what will you do

You'll arrive at the modern, brand-new warehouse. You'll go upstairs and change, then grab something to drink and/or eat in the canteen if needed. Then you'll clock in and start working as an orderpicker. You'll work with orders that you'll pick using voice picking. You'll do this in the dry dock (+-17 degrees Celsius), the cooling room (+-3 degrees Celsius), and the freezer (+-18 degrees Celsius). You'll take a break in the spacious and clean canteen. Your shift usually ends around midnight, but sometimes there's more work or a lot of sick leave, so it might run a little over. You'll be paid accordingly, of course.

You will be assigned a line(s) for which you are responsible. On your line(s) parcels come down that need to be sorted. You do this by reading the zip code on the label. Where will you work

As a warehouse employee, you will work at Popeweg in Venlo. In our PostNL depot, we process thousands of packages per week. what will you do

As a reachtruck driver, your day willt start with a nice cup of coffee. After this cup of coffee, you make sure you're at your department on time. Here, you'll have a morning meeting with your colleagues and team leaders to discuss the day's activities. Then, you'll go to your workstation and begin your work. After the first few hours, you and your entire team will go to the canteen for a break. You have three breaks per day: two of fifteen minutes and one of half an hour. During these breaks, you can grab a piece of fruit in the canteen. After the shared breaks, you'll return to your workstation to finish your work. At the end of your day, you'll walk to the lockers on time to collect your belongings. From there, you'll clock out with your badge and can go home satisfied.

  • You unload incoming trucks;
  • You place pallets of goods in the correct location in the warehouse. This may include high up in the racks;
  • You retrieve the correct pallets for departing trucks;
  • You have colleagues during quiet periods. During these periods, you may pick and pack orders;
  • You work in accordance with safety regulations.
