As a reachtruck driver is important that you :
Before the start on Monday employees receive clothes, safety shoes and an entrance pass. They need to wear these clothes every day at work.
All the employees will be trained at the job. ed.
Working hours: they work in 2 shifts (06.00 - 14.00 and 14.00 - 22.30). One week the employee works in the morning and the other week in the afternoon. If they need to work on a Saturday, it will only be in the morning.
Pause: the employees have 50 minutes of breaktime per day. 1x 30 minutes and 2x 10 minutes. Not everyone can have a break at the same time, so during the day everyone has a break at different times.
Scania in Hasselt has no cafeteria where the employees can buy things like sandwiches and a hot meal so they need to bring their own food.
When you get on your reachtruck, you make sure that the truck parts are transported to the right workstations and colleagues. You make sure that:
- You pick the right pallets / orders from high racks up to seven floors.
- Pallets are transported to the right place
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Transport goods from A to B
Scania is a renowned company that builds trucks, buses and marine engines all over the world. The Scania Logistics Netherlands logistics center in Hasselt is the center of Scania's global supply flow. The parts of the truck arrive at Hasselt, where they are transported to the appropriate location in the warehouse for distribution. The materials are then shipped overseas or to our production facilities in Zwolle and Meppel.

De opleiding is volledig in het Nederlands, dus je beheerst de taal zowel mondeling als schriftelijk. Het is uiteraard ook handig dat je in het bezit bent van een B rijbewijs en enige rijervaring hebt. Kort samengevat:
