Zwolle is home to the largest Scania factory in the world. We can build as many as 200 trucks a day! As a logistics employee, you supply the factory. You deliver all required materials at the right places and times to your colleagues on the assembly line. Without supply of materials there is no truck construction. So as a logistics employee at Scania, you are of great importance in the production process!

Experience in logistics is desired. Of course you will learn all the tricks of the trade in practice! For this job it's important that you can provide two positive references. Please note that you must attend a mandatory induction. This takes 2.5 consecutive days.

The work consists of:

  • collecting and repacking truck parts
  • transporting these parts to the production line with the corresponding moving vehicles
  • you accurately record the parts and process this administratively

Who you are
As a logistics employee at PostNL Son en Breugel you are:

  • Available directly;
  • Available on Monday and Tuesday
  • Available from 17h30 till 02h00
  • In possession of your own transportation (bicycle, scooter or car) to get to work;
  • In the possibility to lift, where needed, boxes up to 23 kilograms;

What will you do
When working at PostNL Son en Breugel you will help with the sorting process of the packages. In this process we have three different work activities. Firstly, loading and unloading of containers out of the trucks. Secondly, putting all the packages on the assembly line. And last, but not least: the sorting of all the packages. It is important to know that the packages can weigh up to 23 kilograms, so it is important that you are physically fit!

Where will you work
The warehouse of PostNL Son en Breugel is located on Ekkersrijt 3402. As a logistics employee you will have a really nice team of colleagues working together with you. Also, the (assistant) team leaders are always ready to help you when needed. The warehouse is good reachable with your own transportation. If you don’t have this it is possible to get a (electric) lease bicycle via Tempo-team.

  • For this position it is required to apply for a VOG document (Certificate of Good Conduct)

Who you are
As a logistics employee nightshifts, you help with loading and unloading trucks. This means moving roll containers that can weigh up to 150 kilos. No problem for you! Additionally, you are available for at least three evenings/nights and:

  • You can request a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct);
  • You speak Dutch or English;
  • You have your own transport to get to work.

What will you do
PostNL Tiel is one of PostNL's crossdock locations. Here, roll containers full of packages are transferred to be sent to the correct destination with a different driver. How does this work? Trucks arrive with, for example, three roll containers for the Tilburg region and three for the Breda region. Each region is collected separately so that a full truck can drive to Tilburg and another to Breda. This saves unnecessary trips across the country for just a few roll containers. As a logistics employee nightshifts, you unload the trucks and place the roll containers in the right sections. Is there an empty truck that needs to be filled? You make sure the correct roll containers are loaded. Then you neatly put the roll containers back into the truck.

  • Flexible working hours in rotation from 09:00 PM to 05:30 AM, 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM, 00:30 AM to 09:00 AM and 01:30 AM to 10:00 AM.
  • Working days Monday through Friday and Sunday in rotation.

Where will you work
The PostNL Tiel warehouse is located at Hoekwei 6 in Tiel. You can easily reach it by car, bike or scooter. With an international team of colleagues, you ensure all packages are sent with the right driver. It can be hard work on the floor, but everyone helps each other out to make the job easier. Team leaders also regularly provide something nice during the break, like a stroopwafel or a soft drink. Want more responsibility as a logistics employee nightshifts? With internal training, you can grow into the position of assistant team leader!

what will you do
