Overview

Senior Portfolio Manager at APG Asset Management leading private equity fund investments across Europe. You will drive the end-to-end investment process from opportunity assessment to portfolio monitoring and risk management, shaping investment views and recommendations. You collaborate with GPs, LP peers, and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes and thought leadership. This role combines hands-on analysis, structuring, and external representation to grow APG's private equity portfolio.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Define capital deployment through market mapping and fund selection
• Lead end-to-end PE fund investments, including conviction formation, drafting recommendations, and negotiations
• Monitor and manage APG's PE fund commitments, identifying issues and engaging with GPs
• Represent APG externally and contribute to internal discussions with GPs, LP peers, and stakeholders
• Develop team capability through coaching and direct involvement in deals and portfolio management
• Contribute independent investment views and thought leadership in investment discussions

Belangrijkste vereisten

• More than 10 years of relevant experience, with at least 8 years in private equity fund investing

• End-to-end PE fund evaluation, due diligence, negotiations, and execution, owning key workstreams

• Proven ability to lead investment recommendations and present to investment committees

• Independent operator in a complex investment environment with strong judgment

• Professional fluency in English (written and verbal)

• Master's degree or equivalent
