Overview

In this role you manage a portfolio of client entities, ensuring accurate accounting records and timely statutory and regulatory reporting. You act as the primary accounting contact, coordinate audits, and oversee compliance with Dutch GAAP and IFRS as applicable. You will guide junior staff, drive process improvements, and support tax and regulatory activities. This position offers broad exposure across accounting, tax, and regulatory reporting within a growing professional services firm.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Manage a portfolio of client entities and act as the primary contact for accounting-related matters
• Maintain accounting records and oversee bookkeeping activities for accuracy and compliance
• Prepare statutory financial statements under Dutch GAAP (and IFRS where applicable)
• Deliver periodic management, financial, and regulatory reporting within deadlines
• Coordinate external audits and review audit deliverables
• Coordinate tax activities with external advisers; review corporate tax, VAT, and withholding tax filings
• Monitor transactions and support regulatory and anti-financial crime compliance
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements, quality standards, and controls

Belangrijkste vereisten

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline

• Approximately 7+ years of relevant accounting or financial reporting experience

• Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP; IFRS experience is advantageous

• Experience preparing statutory financial statements and coordinating annual audits

• Understanding of Dutch corporate tax compliance and reporting obligations

• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance in corporate services

• Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills; fluent English
