Als Mechanical Supervisor leid je de mechanische discipline en zet je je in voor de maximale beschikbaarheid en integriteit van installaties en apparatuur. Je stuurt een team aan van technici, coordinatoren en magazijnmedewerkers en borgt veilige, efficiënte en kosteneffectieve uitvoering volgens beleid en regelgeving. Je ontwikkelt en bewaakt lange termijn onderhoudsplannen en geeft vorm aan continue verbetering en change management. Je werkt nauw samen met meerdere afdelingen en contractors om impact te maken op betrouwbaarheid en veiligheid. Verantwoordelijkheden

• Verantwoordelijk voor beschikbaarheid en betrouwbaarheid van installaties
• Sturen op kostenefficiëntie, KPI's en veiligheid
• Initieert en bewaakt meerjarenplan
• Uitdragen van veiligheidsbeleid binnen maintenance en naar contractors
• Zorgt voor tijdige en efficiënte uitvoering van preventief en correctief onderhoud
• Volgt en sluit auditbevindingen, safety actions en MOC's af

Belangrijkste vereisten

• Bachelor in een technische richting

• Minimaal 5 jaar relevante ervaring in een manufacturing omgeving

• Kennis van aangrenzende Maintenance en Engineering disciplines

• Kennis van Maintenance Management systemen (Maximo)

• Vloeiend Nederlands en Engels

As an experienced technician, you'll be working in our new Fulfilment Center in Dordrecht/Ridderkerk with cutting-edge intralogistics systems from top brands such as Apollo, Qimarox, and Regal Rexnord. Your insight and initiative are highly valued, and you'll coach junior colleagues to help elevate the team, ensuring that tens of thousands of customer orders reach families on time every single day. Our Fulfilment Center operates 24/7, and you'll work in a 5-shift rotation. During your shift, you'll carry full responsibility for the maintenance and service of our systems.

The job:

• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve both electrical and mechanical faults in technical systems, working closely with our operational supervisors.
• Technical collaboration: Work directly with machine suppliers to solve complex technical issues.
• Analysis and improvement: Analyze recurring issues, prevent future breakdowns, and implement structural improvements.
• Preventive maintenance: Plan and carry out scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum system uptime and reliability.
• Continuous optimization: Initiate and implement improvements to make our systems smarter and more efficient every day.

About you:

• Technical degree (MBO level 3 or higher).
• 2-3 years of experience in a technical or maintenance position.
• Practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including measuring and camera systems.
• Interest in working with software tools such as CMMS and/or ICS/SCADA systems.
• VCA training and NEN 3140 certification are a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• You work independently, take initiative, and solve problems effectively.

As a Maintenance Technician, you ensure that production equipment remains in excellent condition. You perform preventive maintenance, resolve breakdowns and contribute to improving machine reliability together with your colleagues.

Your responsibilities include :

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment

• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and basic electrical faults

You will join an international manufacturing organisation with a highly automated production facility in the Venlo region. The maintenance department consists of experienced technicians, planners and supervisors who work closely together to maximise equipment availability. English is the primary language used within the maintenance team.

Working hours
You will work in a four-shift rotation. The organisation has plans to transition to a two-shift schedule in the future.

As a Technical Operator within the Paperbags department, you are responsible for your production line. You make sure it is always running as it should and know exactly how to solve any issue or error. In turn, you can expect a gross salary of up to € 4,000 per month. Your responsibilities as Technical Operator include:

• Operating, setting up and optimizing Paperbag production machines

• Performing first and second line troubleshooting on mechanical and process related issues

• Planning and carrying out preventive maintenance and scheduled cleaning activities

• Diagnosing machine failures using structured problem solving and Root Cause Analysis if necessary

• Prioritizing maintenance activities while balancing production continuity, product quality and customer delivery

• Coordinating with Operators, Supervisors and Maintenance to minimize downtime

• Providing structured technical handovers, including clear documentation of issues, actions taken and follow-up requirements

• Training and coaching Operators on machine operation, adjustments and troubleshooting techniques

• Identifying opportunities to improve machine performance, reliability and production efficiency

• Ensuring all work is carried out safely while maintaining a clean and organized production environment

• Acting as the technical knowledge holder for your production line and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Over de werkgever

You will be working at the Paperbags department of one of Europe's most advanced and highly automated printing companies. The machinery at this department is a little less complex than some of the site's digital printing systems. However, because there is no OEM support for the equipment, your new department requires a high level of technical ownership. That means as a Technical Operator you are asked to think independently, assess problems and make well-considered decisions to maintain production continuity. A great responsibility, but your new employer trusts you and your colleagues will work together to keep customer deliveries on schedule!

That also means that there is a lot of room for continuous learning, ownership and internal development at the company. If you do well, you will even be able to grow into more senior technical positions!
