As an experienced technician, you'll be working in our new Fulfilment Center in Dordrecht/Ridderkerk with cutting-edge intralogistics systems from top brands such as Apollo, Qimarox, and Regal Rexnord. Your insight and initiative are highly valued, and you'll coach junior colleagues to help elevate the team, ensuring that tens of thousands of customer orders reach families on time every single day. Our Fulfilment Center operates 24/7, and you'll work in a 5-shift rotation. During your shift, you'll carry full responsibility for the maintenance and service of our systems.

The job:

• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve both electrical and mechanical faults in technical systems, working closely with our operational supervisors.
• Technical collaboration: Work directly with machine suppliers to solve complex technical issues.
• Analysis and improvement: Analyze recurring issues, prevent future breakdowns, and implement structural improvements.
• Preventive maintenance: Plan and carry out scheduled maintenance to ensure maximum system uptime and reliability.
• Continuous optimization: Initiate and implement improvements to make our systems smarter and more efficient every day.

About you:

• Technical degree (MBO level 3 or higher).
• 2-3 years of experience in a technical or maintenance position.
• Practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including measuring and camera systems.
• Interest in working with software tools such as CMMS and/or ICS/SCADA systems.
• VCA training and NEN 3140 certification are a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• You work independently, take initiative, and solve problems effectively.

As a technician at Picnic, you will be part of our internal maintenance team and contribute to the smooth operation of our Material Handling Equipment. We will teach you everything about maintenance and troubleshooting, while giving you the freedom to share your ideas and help improve processes. You will grow quickly, take initiative, and help build the technology of the future. Together, we ensure that thousands of orders are delivered smoothly every day.

The Fulfilment Center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Together with the other technicians, you will work rotating shifts according to a 5-shift schedule, ensuring that a skilled technician is always available.

Your responsibilities:

• Solving and preventing breakdowns: You tackle technical issues and ensure they do not happen again;
• Staying ahead of problems: You identify early signs of potential failures and take action before they cause disruptions;
• Preventive maintenance: You carry out preventive maintenance to ensure our machines keep running at all times;
• Continuous improvement: You implement ongoing improvements to ensure our automated systems operate at their optimal level.

About you

• You have a technical diploma at MBO level 3 or higher;
• You have 0-2 years of experience in a technical or maintenance role;
• You are interested in working with software tools and dashboards;
• You communicate well and enjoy working as part of a team;
• You are proactive, eager to learn, and enjoy finding creative solutions to technical challenges.

Over de functie Bol. has one of the largest E-commerce Fulfilment Centers in Europe in Waalwijk, which was expanded 3 years ago. SSI SCHAEFER is proud that we have provided the complete logistical setup. In order to process the various packages properly and on time, SSI SCHAEFER has set up a smart and innovative intralogistics system.
Every day, an average of 40,000 parcels can be sent per hour at bol. Between the 30-metre-high racks, around 2,000 shuttles drive and there is more than 30 kilometres of conveyor system. All of this is controlled by a state-of-the-art software system.

What will you do as a maintenance and service technician?

• You work together with your colleagues on maintenance work or you resolve malfunctions
• You perform analyses to determine the cause of malfunctions or any defective parts
• To improve processes, you design and create reports and manuals
• A varied job in which you will work on sensors, weighing systems, roller conveyors, conveyor belts and shuttles
• In short, you and your colleagues ensure that the packages are delivered to customers on time.

Voor jou

• A (permanent) contract with SSI SCHAEFER
• €3,100 to €4,000 per month based on 38 hours per week, depending on your education and experience
• You will work in the 2-2-1 system of the 5-shift system
• 30% shift allowance which increases the salary to
• Travel expenses €0.23 per kilometer (max. 50 km one way)
• Collective Labor Agreement for the Metal and Electrical Industry (27 vacation days, pension in the collective labor agreement and a training day

Jouw kwaliteiten

• You have previously worked as a maintenance engineer or you have completed technical training

Als Storingsmonteur ben jij onderdeel van ons interne onderhoudsteam werk je samen met jouw team van vier collega's, inclusief een teamleider, om ervoor te zorgen dat de Material Handling Equipment te allen tijde soepel blijft draaien. Met jouw expertise en vaardigheden zorg je voor preventief onderhoud en reageer je op incidenten, zodat de tienduizenden bestellingen voor gezinnen in de omgeving op tijd en zonder problemen worden afgeleverd.

Het Fulfilment Center is 7 dagen per week, 18 uur per dag geopend. Je zult samen met jouw de andere technicians in wisselende diensten werken (3-ploegenschema), zodat er altijd iemand aanwezig is. Jouw zelfstandigheid stelt je in staat om tijdens jouw dienst de volledige verantwoordelijkheid te dragen voor de service en onderhoud van onze systemen. Met je goede communicatievaardigheden zorg je ervoor dat ook je collega's in andere shifts precies weten wat er aan de hand is.

De kunst van het vak

• Je spoort elektrische en mechanische fouten op in technische systemen en lost deze op in samenwerking met onze operationele Supervisors, en je werkt met de servicedesk van de machine-leveranciers voor complexe problemen
• Je zoekt tot op de bodem uit waarom een storing heeft plaatsgevonden, en voorkomt dat het nog een keer gebeurt
• Voert gepland preventief onderhoud uit aan het systeem om de beschikbaarheid te maximaliseren
• Implementeert continu verbeteringsactiviteiten om de geautomatiseerde systemen optimaal te laten draaien
• Zorgt voor nauwkeurige administratie van onderhoudstaken en stelt je collega's op de hoogte van de belangrijkste gebeurtenissen (incidenten, gepland onderhoud, en aangebrachte wijzigingen en verbeteringen)

Over jou

• Je beschikt over een technisch diploma op MBO-niveau en 1-3 jaar werkervaring op MBO-niveau 3 of hoger
• Je hebt praktische kennis over elektrische en mechanische systemen, meetsystemen en camerasystemen
• Je hebt interesse in het werken met softwaretools zoals CMMS of EAM-systemen en ICS/SCADA tools
• Ervaring in een geautomatiseerd distributiecentrum en met het onderhouden van transportbanden is een pre
• Je beschikt over sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en werkt graag samen in een team
• Tegelijkertijd ben je zelfstandig en los je problemen op waar nodig

Je krijgt de verantwoordelijkheid om de Material Handling Equipment optimaal te laten draaien, storingen zelfstandig op te lossen en verbeteringen door te voeren. Jouw inzicht en initiatief worden serieus genomen, en je coacht jongere collega's om het team naar een hoger niveau te tillen, zodat tienduizenden bestellingen elke dag op tijd bij gezinnen komen

Het Fulfilment Center is 7 dagen per week, 24 uur per dag geopend, en je werkt in een 5-ploegenschema. Tijdens jouw dienst draag je zelfstandig de volledige verantwoordelijkheid voor service en onderhoud van onze systemen.

De kunst van het vak

• Storingen identificeren & oplossen: je spoort zowel elektrische als mechanische storingen op in technische systemen en lost deze op, in nauwe samenwerking met onze operationele supervisors.
• Technische samenwerking: bij complexe problemen werk je direct met de machineleveranciers aan een oplossing.
• Analyse en verbetering: je analyseert storingen, voorkomt herhaling en neemt structurele verbeteringen door.
• Preventief onderhoud: je voert gepland preventief onderhoud uit om de maximale beschikbaarheid van de systemen te waarborgen.
• Continue optimalisatie: je initieert en implementeert verbeteringen om onze systemen continu slimmer te maken.

Over jou

• Je hebt een technisch diploma op MBO-niveau 3 of hoger;
• Je hebt 3+ jaar ervaring in een technische of onderhoudsfunctie;
• Je hebt praktische kennis van elektrische en mechanische systemen, inclusief meetsystemen en camerasystemen;
• Je hebt interesse in het werken met softwaretools zoals CMMS- en/of ICS/SCADA-tools;
• VCA-training en NEN 31/40-certificering zijn een pré.
• Je beschikt over sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en werkt graag samen in een team;
• Tegelijkertijd ben je zelfstandig, neem je initiatief en weet je problemen doelgericht op te lossen.
