We are looking for a driven and experienced Logistics Team Leader who thrives on leading and inspiring teams. You bring at least 3 years of experience in a similar logistics leadership role and have a proven ability to manage daily operations efficiently. We need a proactive, enthusiastic, and flexible person with strong leadership and motivational skills. Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written) are essential for this Logistics Team Leader position.

what will you do

As a Logistics Team Leader, you play a key role in leading, motivating, and developing your team to achieve operational excellence. You ensure that daily logistics processes run smoothly and efficiently while fostering a safe and positive work environment. A typical day involves guiding your team, improving workflows, and monitoring performance to ensure targets are met. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Managing team performance and driving employee growth through coaching, training, and feedback.
  • Creating and maintaining a safe, productive, and engaging workplace for your team.
  • Continuously improving logistical workflows by identifying bottlenecks and implementing smart solutions to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify opportunities for improvement.

Who you are

As a team leader you are driven and you have a passion for logistics. Furthermore:

  • You have 3 years working experience in logistics
  • you have at least a MBO level 4 or higher education level
  • You have experience with MS Office.
  • You Speak English
What will you do

You will lead and optimize the UPC department, owning its process and performance. You're the Maestro of the daily flow, ensuring we hit targets for Quality, Productivity, and Safety. You'll provide essential team feedback, report to the SDS Supervisor, and solve capacity issues by collaborating across departments. You are the key to smooth operations!

Where will you work

In Breda, you'll find Samsung SDS! This is the logistics arm of the parent company, Samsung Electronics. The location in Breda houses the 'Spare Part Center,' which means you can find all sorts of components for various Samsung products here.
Also all kinds of spare parts from the smallest screws to the biggest refrigerator doors.
The warehouse is situated right next to the Woonboulevard (Home Decor Boulevard) in Breda. It's easily accessible by both public transport and car. Together with your international colleagues, you will manage the process from A to Z. During your break, you will have time to relax in our canteen while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea. To be eligible for thing job, it is important that you:

  • Workdays from Monday to Friday
  • Workinghours from 08:00 to 17:00
