Overview

As a Local Legal Advisor for the NLN region, you support compliance and corporate needs within the Netherlands and broader NLN area. You work with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to apply policies, assess regulatory changes, and manage legal risk. You will collaborate with global and regional legal teams and contribute to post-acquisition integration and ongoing compliance programs. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge technologies and a global network, with impact across governance, data processing, and ethics.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Serve as local legal advisor across compliance and corporate domains
• Act as contact for cross-legal-area reviews on internal data processing
• Apply Accenture policies and act as Netherlands legal generalist
• Provide legal/compliance guidance to Corporate Functions and leadership in NLN
• Monitor local regulatory guidance and changes in law
• Identify legal/compliance risks and develop corrective actions
• Coordinate with regional/global legal functions to escalate issues
• Oversee SharePoint/Teams sites and maintain training materials
• Identify and implement new GCC initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders

Belangrijkste vereisten

• Master's degree in Dutch Law

• Minimum of 5 years of experience at a law firm or in-house counsel

• Native Dutch speaker and fluent in English

• Knowledge of generic in-house legal matters including risk identification, compliance, legal research

• Strong interpersonal, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills

• Ability to work with internal/external teams and take end-to-end ownership of projects/audits

• Good understanding of Accenture offerings, commercial agreements, and contracting regulations

• Ability to work under pressure and build trust with senior management

• Comfortable with technology and AI tools

• Interpersonal skills
