Wie ben jij
Als magazijnmedewerker bij PostNL is het belangrijk dat je aan de volgende eisen voldoet:

• Je beschikt over eigen vervoer om in Westzaan te kunnen werken
• Je bent beschikbaar in de nachtdienst van 22.15 - 07.00
• Je bent parttime beschikbaar, maandag, dinsdag en om de week op woensdag.

Wat ga je doen
Als magazijnmedewerker avonddienst kun je op verschillende afdelingen komen te werken. Zo is er een afdeling waarbij je pakketten die verkeerd zijn geadresseerd of gelabeld moet worden naar de juiste plek brengt. Jouw collega kan de pakketten dan herstellen. Zo gaan ze alsnog naar de juiste klant toe! Ook kan het zijn dat je aan de lopende band gaat werken en pakketten gaat scannen en sorteren. Vervolgens zet je ze klaar voor de bezorgers. Jij maakt onze klanten blij!

PostNL bezorgt jaarlijks miljoenen brieven en pakketten. Als magazijnmedewerker ben jij dan ook belangrijk in dit proces. Je gaat werken bij de PostNL in Westzaan. Who you are
As a warehouse worker at PostNL it is important that you meet the following requirements:

• You can work in Westzaan
• You can work in the Night shift from 22:15 to 07:00
• You can work Part-time from Monday to Wednesday

What will you do
As a warehouse worker evening shift you can work in different departments. For example, there is a department where you have to bring packages that are incorrectly addressed or labeled to the right place. Your colleague can then repair the packages. This way they still go to the right customer! It is also possible that you will work on the assembly line and scan and sort packages. Then you prepare them for the delivery people. You make our customers happy!
Everyone who comes to work at PostNL must have a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG). This applies to employees in permanent employment as well as to trainees and temporary and hired employees.

Where will you work
PostNL delivers millions of letters and parcels every year. As a warehouse worker, you are also important in this process. You will work at PostNL in Westzaan. You can work flexibly. Who you are
As a warehouse employee, you're active in the early morning! You never get out of bed on the wrong side. We don't ask for much, but we do require the following:

• You are available 3 to 6 days per week.
• You are available from Monday to Saturday.
• You are available from 05:00 - 13:00.
• You are available for work for at least 3 months.
• You speak Dutch or English.
• You have your own transportation to get to PostNL in Westzaan.
• You are able to perform a lot of physical work with packages.

What will you do
You will ensure that the packages get to the delivery vans! As a warehouse employee, you're constantly on the move. In the morning, trucks full of packages arrive. The trucks must first be unloaded, and then the roll containers need to be brought to the correct location. After that, a team is ready to place all the packages on the conveyor belt. This is also called 'feeding'. Sounds simple, but don't be mistaken: some packages can weigh up to 20 kilos! Then the packages are sorted via a conveyor belt, and the deliverers can load their own vans. On to the customers!

Where will you work
You will work at the PostNL depot in Westzaan! The depot is located on a business park in the Westzaner-Overtoom. It's a small and close-knit team that enjoys helping each other. You'll also work with many nationalities, which means a lot of English is spoken. Do you have no experience as a warehouse employee? No problem, we're happy to help you get started! You load and unload trucks with an awesome team. Trucks bring large bags of deposit bottles. Together, you slide these bags across the floor. You also get to operate the pressing machine for cardboard, plastic, and food. Finally, you sort crates and packaging to keep everything perfectly neat!

Become a count operator
Ready for an exciting new step? You can learn to be a count operator! You will run the smart counting machine. It automatically sorts bottles and cans by color and material.

How does it work? It is super easy! You grab a bag and remove the label. You empty the bag into the machine. It scans everything for you. Did the machine miss a bottle? No worries at all! It safely falls into a handy bin. You just scan those last few items yourself. Piece of cake!

Working times:

• Morning shift: 06:00 - 15:00
• Evening shift: 15:00 - 00:00
• Night shift: 21:00 - 06:00
