As a production employee, you are available full-time. Besides that it is important that you meet the following requirements;

• You are 18 years or older
• You can work at least 3 days during the week
• You can work in 3 shifts; 6:00-15:00 and 15:00-00:00 and 21:00 - 06:00
• You have your own accommodation in the area of Zaandam
• You are available to work for at least 2 months

Your day as production employee starts in the canteen, a chat with your colleagues and a game of table soccer to warm up for the working day! Your working day will be different every day, because you are all-round employable in the whole warehouse, so lots of variety! Kuehne + Nagel processes all returns coming back from the Albert Heijn. You can think of all packaging such as beer crates and plastic bottles. But also food that can no longer be sold in the stores. Your muscles will come in handy in this job, as you will be lifting and walking all day. So turn on that step counter and see which of your colleagues takes the most steps in a day! Furthermore, your duties as a production employee consist of:

• Loading and unloading truck
• Processing cardboard and plastic in the pressing machine
• Sorting beer crates and other packaging
• Food sorting and processing in the pressing machine

Kuehne & Nagel Zaandam

At K + N, everything that has not been sold is processed in the supermarket. We work with the principle of recycling as much as possible.

Activities:
Trucks deliver large bags with empty bottles and cans, with a deposit on them. (These are the bottles that customers return in shops, clubs, canteens, etc.) These bags must be removed from the trucks, most colleagues drag them across the floor.
In general, one (if suitable) is trained as a counting operator: He/she is responsible for the machine where the bottles and cans are counted and split. Split on; Color and cans.

Count operator:
The counting operator takes a bag, cuts off the label (this contains the sender's details and quantities) and empties the bag into the machine. The machine scans the bottles/cans and throws those that cannot be scanned into a container, which you have to scan manually.

Als magazijnmedewerker ben je actief op de vroege ochtend! Je stapt nooit met je verkeerde been uit bed. Daarnaast vragen we niet veel, maar wel het volgende:

• Je bent tussen de 3 en 6 dagen per week beschikbaar.
• Je bent beschikbaar van maandag tot en met zaterdag.
• Je bent beschikbaar van 05:00 - 11:00 uur.
• Je bent minimaal 3 maanden beschikbaar voor werk.
• Je spreekt Nederlands of Engels.
• Je hebt eigen vervoer om naar PostNL in Westzaan te komen.
• Je bent in staat om veel fysiek werk te verrichten met pakketten.

Jij gaat ervoor zorgen dat de pakketten bij de bestelbusjes terecht komen! Als magazijnmedewerker sta je geen moment stil. In de ochtend komen er vrachtwagens vol met pakketten aan. De vrachtwagens moeten eerst gelost worden en daarna moeten de rolcontainers naar de juiste plek gebracht worden. Daarna staat er een team klaar om alle pakketjes op de lopende band te leggen. Dit noemen ze ook wel ‘opvoeren’. Klinkt simpel, maar vergis je niet: sommige pakketten kunnen tot wel 20 kilo wegen! Daarna worden de pakketten via een lopende band uitgesorteerd en kunnen de bezorgers hun eigen busjes in gaan laden. Op naar de klanten!

Je komt te werken in het depot van PostNL in Westzaan! Het depot is gelegen op een bedrijventerrein in de Westzaner-Overtoom. Het is een klein en hecht team dat elkaar graag helpt. As a warehouse employee, you're active in the early morning! You never get out of bed on the wrong side. We don't ask for much, but we do require the following:

• You are available 3 to 6 days per week.
• You are available from Monday to Saturday.

• You have your own transportation to get to PostNL in Westzaan.

You will ensure that the packages get to the delivery vans! As a warehouse employee, you're constantly on the move. In the morning, trucks full of packages arrive. The trucks must first be unloaded, and then the roll containers need to be brought to the correct location. After that, a team is ready to place all the packages on the conveyor belt. This is also called 'feeding'. Sounds simple, but don't be mistaken: some packages can weigh up to 20 kilos! Then the packages are sorted via a conveyor belt, and the deliverers can load their own vans. On to the customers!
