Who you are
As a production employee, you are available at least 3 days a week. Besides that it is important that you meet the following requirements;

• You are 18 years or older
• You speak English or Dutch
• You can work at least 3 days during the week
• You can work in 3 shifts; 6:00-15:00 and 15:00-00:00 and 21:00 - 06:00
• You have your own accommodation in the area of Zaandam
• You are available to work for at least 2 months
• You have your own transporation

What will you do
Your day as production employee starts in the canteen, a chat with your colleagues and a game of table soccer to warm up for the working day! Your working day will be different every day, because you are all-round employable in the whole warehouse, so lots of variety! Kuehne + Nagel processes all returns coming back from the Albert Heijn. You can think of all packaging such as beer crates and plastic bottles. But also food that can no longer be sold in the stores. Your muscles will come in handy in this job, as you will be lifting and walking all day. So turn on that step counter and see which of your colleagues takes the most steps in a day! Furthermore, your duties as a production employee consist of:

• Loading and unloading truck
• Processing cardboard and plastic in the pressing machine
• Sorting beer crates and other packaging
• Food sorting and processing in the pressing machine

Who you are

What will you do
Start your day right in the cozy canteen! Grab a fresh coffee and play a fun game of table soccer. Then, it is time for action. Recycling is our top priority here, so your work has a huge green impact! You are an all-round production employee. That means every day is full of fun variety.

You process returns from Albert Heijn. Think of empty crates, bottles, and unsold food. Skip the gym, because you get fit while working! You will walk and lift all day. Turn on your step counter. Can you beat your colleagues in a friendly step challenge?

You load and unload trucks with an awesome team. Trucks bring large bags of deposit bottles. Together, you slide these bags across the floor. You also get to operate the pressing machine for cardboard, plastic, and food. Finally, you sort crates and packaging to keep everything perfectly neat!

Become a count operator
Ready for an exciting new step? You can learn to be a count operator! You will run the smart counting machine. It automatically sorts bottles and cans by color and material.

How does it work? It is super easy! You grab a bag and remove the label. You empty the bag into the machine. It scans everything for you. Did the machine miss a bottle? No worries at all! It safely falls into a handy bin. You just scan those last few items yourself. Piece of cake!

Working times:

• Morning shift: 06:00 - 15:00
• Evening shift: 15:00 - 00:00
• Night shift: 21:00 - 06:00
