Overview

As a Senior Financial Risk Analyst on the Merchant Potential Liability team, you assess financial risk for a portfolio of enterprise merchants and advise on credit risk to the Adyen risk committee. You drive enhancements to our risk framework and lead cross-team projects to improve risk quality and scalability. You collaborate with Commercial, Product, Legal, and Compliance to embed credit risk considerations in product development and with regulators and merchants on risk stance. This role offers influence on strategy, process optimization, and risk governance in a global fintech environment.

Verantwoordelijkheden

Assess and analyse merchant business models and financial health to provide credit risk guidance to the risk committee
Drive continuous improvement of risk management framework, policies, tools, and processes
Lead end-to-end risk projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams to align with the risk framework
Share credit risk knowledge with Product, Legal, and Compliance for new commercial product development
Communicate Adyen's credit risk approach to merchants, commercial teams, and regulators

Belangrijkste vereisten

At least 5 years of experience in a financial risk environment
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across cultures and time zones
Innovative with proven problem-solving and process design capabilities
Ability to lead projects with clear goals and deadlines
Interest in payments/fintech space and willingness to engage with the domain
