Overview

As Legal Counsel, you guide Dutch legal matters for Worldline entities, partnering with Sales, Procurement, Compliance, and other teams to ensure regulatory compliance. You will draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts in our payment ecosystem, leveraging AI-enabled tools for efficiency. You translate Dutch and EU regulatory changes into actionable plans, policies, and workflows. You play a key role in dispute resolution and strategic legal input for business initiatives, shaping compliant growth.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide range of commercial agreements with banks, merchants, partners, and suppliers
• Monitoring Dutch and European regulatory changes and translating them into action plans
• Handling disputes and managing claims and litigation processes
• Providing legal scoping for business initiatives and prioritizing high-impact matters using AI support
• Coordinate with Worldline Group Legal and support cross-functional projects
• Advising on internal governance and drafting internal policies

Belangrijkste vereisten

• Master's degree in Dutch law

• 4+ years of professional legal experience

• Fluent in Dutch and English

• Proven commercial contracting experience

• Meticulous attention to detail and high accuracy

• Strong analytical mind and research capabilities

• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, regulated environments
