Overview

As a Data Center Campus Director, you will lead safe and compliant operations across a metro, guiding a diverse team to deliver reliable IT and critical-environment support. You drive cost-aware, scalable infrastructure delivery while upholding safety and ecological standards. You will coordinate with partners and global teams to support Microsoft's cloud services at scale, shaping operational excellence and a culture of One Microsoft.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Foster a culture of safety, security and compliance across data center operations
• Lead and develop Microsoft full-time employees across multiple datacenters in your metro
• Ensure on-time, defect-free delivery of customer capacity within SLA commitments
• Plan and deliver supporting physical infrastructure, logistics, and resources for growth
• Lead incident management for major outages, including leadership of calls, post-incident reviews and improvement plans
• Oversee metro budgets, forecasts and spend (operational and capital)
• Manage vendor/partner contracts and relationships with landlords, IT/CE service providers, and partner teams
• Collaborate with global and regional management to contribute to improvement programs
• Promote One Microsoft values and lead through change with clarity and energy

Belangrijkste vereisten

• High School Diploma or equivalent and demonstrated mission-critical service management experience

• Proven experience leading a diverse, full-time workforce across multiple disciplines and platforms

• Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background check and security screenings

• experience with Critical Environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU)

• experience with physical IT infrastructures (servers, SANs, Networking, DC racks)

• budgeting and financial management (budgets, forecasts, spend control)
