Overview

In this Amsterdam-based role, you lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team to craft visually striking CGI, motion design, and interactive work that blends art direction with production rigor. You shape cinematic concepts, guide specialists, and ensure aesthetic and strategic excellence across large-scale digital projects. You push boundaries with evolving tools and AI-assisted workflows to deliver emotionally resonant experiences for global brands. You report to the Creative Director and collaborate across disciplines to elevate culture through creative leadership.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Lead and deliver award-winning work aligned with client goals and culture
• Direct autonomous teams to translate cinematic vision into polished outputs
• Establish creative foundations and art directions for production and motion graphics
• Direct CGI artists across modeling, lighting, rigging, and compositing to maintain cohesion
• Oversee CGI workflows (modeling, lighting, animatics, grading, retouching) and ensure high quality
• Provide hands-on expertise in retouching, compositing, grading, and finishing for large-scale projects
• Implement advanced workflows (EXR, ACES) for color accuracy and creative control
• Develop creative briefs with clients and strategists to define opportunities and outcomes
• Collaborate across disciplines (design, UX, development) to integrate creativity and strategy
• Lead new business pitches with confidence to global clients
• Explore AI-assisted workflows (e.g., ComfyUI, LoRa, AI models) to push boundaries
• Demonstrate proficiency in editing (Premiere, After Effects), motion retouching (DaVinci), and AI generation tools

Belangrijkste vereisten

• Proven experience at Associate Creative Director level or comparable leadership role in art/design

• Track record of leading award-winning work across European/global markets

• Experience with AI production using state-of-the-art models and JSON-based prompting

• Strong foundation in art direction and motion graphics; deep CGI production knowledge

• Hands-on craft in compositing, grading, retouching, finishing

• Ability to manage complex production pipelines and guide teams

• Excellent client relationship skills and ability to present concepts clearly

• Public-facing representation through talks or mentorship
