Team Lead - Compliance Investigations (EU MLRO)

Overview

In this role, you will lead the AML Compliance Investigations team in Amsterdam, overseeing Second Line investigations and SAR submissions to local FIUs. You'll drive a scalable SAR program and partner with First Line AML and Fraud to optimize end-to-end investigations. You will deliver insights on financial crime trends and trusted reporting to regulators and stakeholders, shaping a compliant growth path for Adyen. This position offers strategic influence, cross-jurisdictional collaboration, and a chance to build a motivated, high-performing team.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Lead AML investigations team and ensure SAR submissions to local FIUs
• Maintain and improve SAR program to meet FIU reporting requirements across jurisdictions
• Drive strategic transformation and collaborate with First Line AML and Fraud to increase process efficiency
• Develop and deliver reporting on financial crime trends observed by the team
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including FIUs and regulators
• Enable control testing and periodic internal audits of SAR processes
• Coach and mentor team members for personal and professional growth

Belangrijkste vereisten

• 7+ years in AML Compliance

• 2+ years of team lead/managerial experience

• Strong knowledge of EU AML/CFT regulatory landscape

• Proven track record in Transaction Monitoring and SAR frameworks across multiple jurisdictions

• Excellent organizational skills and project management ability

• Strong transformational drive and change management

• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multi-task

• Strong interpersonal/communication skills with regulators and stakeholders across jurisdictions
