Bij Royal Van Lent Shipyards op de Kaag en in Amsterdam bouwen we adembenemende superjachten van 70 tot 120 meter. Elke jacht is volledig custom-built en weerspiegelt de hoogste standaarden op het gebied van innovatie, schoonheid en betrouwbaarheid.

De bouw van onze Feadships start met een sterke romp en constructie. Projectmatige inkoop van Hull & Structures (staal/aluminium), mechanical outfitting en bijbehorende technische disciplines is daarbij cruciaal. Als Project Buyer lever je een directe en zichtbare bijdrage aan het succes van onze jachtbouwprojecten door het tijdig, correct en tegen de juiste voorwaarden inkopen van materialen, constructiedelen en technische componenten. Met jouw inhoudelijke kennis verbind je engineering, planning en leveranciers tot een solide en betrouwbaar fundament voor elk jacht.

Dit ga je doen als Project Buyer

Als Project Buyer ben je verantwoordelijk voor de projectgerichte inkoop binnen één of meerdere Feadship‑projecten, met een duidelijke focus op Hull & Structures, staal‑ en aluminiumconstructies en mechanical outfitting. Je begeleidt het volledige inkoopproces: van technische aanvraag en offerteanalyse tot onderhandelingen, contractering en voortgangsbewaking.

Je werkt nauw samen met engineering, projectmanagement en productie om technische specificaties te vertalen naar commerciële afspraken. Je bewaakt levertijden, kosten en kwaliteit binnen complexe bouwfasen en stuurt bij waar nodig. Dankzij jouw kennis van materialen, maakprocessen en leveranciers in de (jacht)bouw weet je risico’s vroegtijdig te signaleren en draag je actief bij aan een voorspelbaar en beheerst bouwproces. Je beschikt over hbo-werk- en -denkniveau en hebt aantoonbare ervaring met projectmatige inkoop binnen een technische omgeving, bij voorkeur in de scheeps‑ of jachtbouw.

Daarnaast neem je mee: - NEVI 1 (NEVI 2 is een pré).

• Minimaal 3–5 jaar werkervaring als Project Buyer of category buyer of manager binnen een project‑ of productieomgeving.
• Kennis van Hull & Structures, staal‑ en aluminiumconstructies en/of mechanical outfitting.
• Ervaring met het inkopen van technische maakdelen, materiaalpakketten en projectgebonden services.
• Inzicht in scheepsbouwkundige en technische tekeningen en specificaties.
• Kennis van projectmatig werken en het werken met strakke planningen.
• Goede beheersing van ERP‑systemen en MS Office (ervaring met Navision is een pré).
• Uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal.

What will you be doing?

Within the retail department, you are primarily responsible for generating insights that help Circana's customers achieve growth. For our customers, you provide a complete analysis using a clear storyboard and the SOLV model. You have access to all retail data and trends from the FMCG market. Together with the Consultant, you interpret the results to translate them into strategic recommendations, but also into action-oriented advice. The final presentation will be given to the customer by you.

As a Senior Strategic Insights Analyst, you are also responsible for the development of You are an important link in the internal customer team and ensure the coordination of customer projects. In addition, you are a coach for our working students and interns. Depending on your expertise, you will take part in a project group or be a project leader where necessary. You report to the retail director.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintaining contact and relationships with the client together with the consultants
• Performing numerical analyses and drawing up and testing hypotheses with the aim of identifying growth opportunities for the client, based on client questions, but also proactively.
• Independently presenting results to the client.
• Supporting the consultant in making research proposals.
• Responsible for formulating the specifications of a given project and determining the expected lead time.
• Responsible for obtaining retailer approvals for projects.
• Thinking along about possible improvements in process, degree of automation, etc. and implementing this where necessary through a project group
• Coaching fellow working students and interns

Requirements

• HBO/University education (preferably commercial and/or marketing)
• Analytical skills
• Able to convert analyses into insights and actions
• Knowledge of the FMCG and/or retail market
• Knowledge of (Trade) Marketing and Sales
