who are you
As a Production Mechanic at HQ Pack, you like to roll up your sleeves and work with extreme precision. You fit the following profile:

• You enjoy working with materials such as wood, plastic, and metal (or already have experience with them)
• You have a good technical understanding and can easily work with building and construction drawings
• You are familiar with basic machine operation and prioritize safety
• You speak and understand Dutch or English well
• Physically demanding work is no problem at all for you

what will you do
In your role as a Production Mechanic at HQ Pack, you transform technical drawings into complete industrial packaging. You are given plenty of space to work independently on a variety of assignments:

• Independently assemble components and custom-cut materials using sawing machines and hand tools.
• Carefully study complex technical drawings and continuously verify that all dimensions are exact.
• Handle floor equipment responsibly and strictly observe safety guidelines and dress codes (PPE).

what will you do
As a production worker at LKQ Van Esch, you are responsible for mixing the right color paint for different car parts. You do this by following a recipe that tells you how many grams of pigments to add to the paint. So it's important you are precise and reliable! When the pigments are all in, you put the can of paint in the mixer. Watch out: these cans can be heavy! But of course you don't have to lift them all day long. After the mixing, you check if the color came out correctly. Then you and your colleagues move on to the next color, with a different recipe. LKQ mixes 300.000 litres of paint a year, so there is never a dull moment!
