Who you are
As a driver's assistant, you want to get started quickly. You enjoy working outdoors and being on the road! You are also:

• Not afraid of a little filth
• Available part-time in the morning shifts between 07:45 a.m. till 02:30 p.m.
• Available on Mondays and Fridays at least.
• You can handle a few raindrops, because well… it sometimes rains in the Netherlands!
• You speak English or Dutch

What will you do
Your shift starts at 7:45 a.m., but you arrive at the location just a little earlier. Time for a cup of coffee. It is checked if everyone is present, and then you get to work as a driver's assistant. Together with your colleagues, you climb onto the truck and ride along as a co-driver on the garbage truck. You ensure that the trash cans are emptied and put them back neatly. You don't do this alone! You work in small teams, which is nice and sociable! Almost break time, so off to the company.
During the break, you can grab a snack in the canteen and then work for a few more hours. You can then go home between 02:30 p.m. and 03:30p.m.! Wonderful, time to unwind from your day and enjoy the evening :)

Where will you work
As a driver's assistant, you will work in various towns in the area surrounding the Municipality of Alphen a/d Rijn. You can also work in other departments. Do you have a driver's license, for example? Then you can also go out independently, carry out odd jobs, or empty trash cans. Additionally, Alphen a/d Rijn has a collection point for bulky waste. The recycling center is also open on Saturdays. Do you want to work more? That is certainly possible! We also have work at the recycling center on weekdays, too! :)

• You are flexible and available to work all two shifts: evening/night shift 20:00 – 05:00, night shift 01:30 – 10:00;
• You are able to work physical by moving roll containers full of packages;

What will you do
So, what exactly does a logistic employee do at PostNL Zaltbommel? As a transfer and storage location for PostNL, you will be working with your colleagues to load and unload trucks. Drivers come and go throughout the day. You will help them by unloading roll containers and placing them in the correct storage areas. You will do this at a steady pace, allowing the drivers to get back on the road quickly. If an empty truck arrives, you will help with loading, ensuring the correct containers go with the driver. Since trucks arrive at various times, your work operates on a rotating shift schedule.

• Working days: Monday through Sunday.
• Working hours: evening/night shift 20:00 – 05:00, night shift 01:30 – 10:00.

Where will you work
As a logistic employee, you will be part of an international team. Together you will ensure each driver sends the correct roll containers out. Drivers come and go frequently, and team leaders are open to your ideas if you see ways to improve the process. The process manager and (assistant) team leaders are also from the Tempo Team. They maintain close contact with our planning and HR departments. Have questions or issues? There is always someone available to help. Convenient, right? The work location can be easily reached by car, bike, or scooter. Public transportation is not available because of the working hours. To be eligible for this job, we ask the following from you:

Who you are
As a logistics employee nightshifts, you help with loading and unloading trucks. This means moving roll containers that can weigh up to 150 kilos. No problem for you! Additionally, you are available for at least three evenings/nights and:

• You can request a VOG (Certificate of Good Conduct);
• You speak Dutch or English;
• You have your own transport to get to work.

What will you do
PostNL Tiel is one of PostNL's crossdock locations. Here, roll containers full of packages are transferred to be sent to the correct destination with a different driver. How does this work? Trucks arrive with, for example, three roll containers for the Tilburg region and three for the Breda region. Each region is collected separately so that a full truck can drive to Tilburg and another to Breda. This saves unnecessary trips across the country for just a few roll containers. As a logistics employee nightshifts, you unload the trucks and place the roll containers in the right sections. Is there an empty truck that needs to be filled? You make sure the correct roll containers are loaded. Then you neatly put the roll containers back into the truck.

• Flexible working hours in rotation from 09:00 PM to 05:30 AM, 10:00 PM to 06:00 AM, 00:30 AM to 09:00 AM and 01:30 AM to 10:00 AM.
• Working days Monday through Friday and Sunday in rotation.

Where will you work
The PostNL Tiel warehouse is located at Hoekwei 6 in Tiel. You can easily reach it by car, bike or scooter. With an international team of colleagues, you ensure all packages are sent with the right driver. It can be hard work on the floor, but everyone helps each other out to make the job easier. Team leaders also regularly provide something nice during the break, like a stroopwafel or a soft drink. Want more responsibility as a logistics employee nightshifts?
