Ben jij technisch onderlegd, werk je nauwkeurig en krijg je energie van het organiseren van technische informatie? Als Article Engineer zorg je ervoor dat artikelgegevens, tekeningen, calculaties en werkordermappen correct worden verwerkt en beschikbaar zijn voor de productie. Je werkt met een breed assortiment aan klantspecifieke producten en denkt mee over technische en logistieke vraagstukken. Samen met twee collega-Article Engineers draag je bij aan een soepel productieproces en de ontwikkeling van innovatieve producten. Een veelzijdige functie voor iemand die techniek en administratie graag combineert. 🚀

Je werkzaamheden bestaan onder andere uit:

• Inrichten van artikelstructuren en productietijden op basis van technische calculaties.

• Samenstellen van complete werkordermappen voor de productie.

• Beheren van technische tekeningen en revisies in het systeem.

• Verwerken van bestellingen en genereren van orderbevestigingen.

• Verstrekken van correcte en actuele productinformatie aan de productie.

• Meedenken over technische en logistieke vraagstukken rondom klantspecifieke producten.

• Salaris: € 24 bruto per uur inclusief ADV- en AO-toeslag. 💰

• Reiskostenvergoeding: €0,23 per kilometer, met een maximum van 50 kilometer per dag. 🚗

Je woont in de regio Venlo of kunt hier dagelijks zelfstandig naartoe komen.

Je gaat werken bij een toonaangevende producent van hoogwaardige aluminium precisieproducten in Venlo. Met geavanceerde technieken worden hier aluminium profielen en componenten geproduceerd voor toepassingen waarbij nauwkeurigheid essentieel is. Denk aan producten voor onder andere de automotive, luchtvaart en andere technisch hoogwaardige markten. Binnen de organisatie komen verschillende specialismen samen. At Fokker Landing Gear in Papendrecht, they are expanding the Manufacturing Engineering team and looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to help ensure seamless production processes. Fokker Landing Gear specializes in the design, development, production, and assembly of landing gears and related systems. They also focus on repair and reassembly of existing systems. Their work supports world-renowned aircraft, including the Apache combat helicopter, the F-35 Lightning II (JSF), the Bombardier Dash 8 Q400, and the NH90 maritime combat helicopter.

Over de functie

As a Manufacturing Engineer (Product & Planning), you will be a crucial member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT), ensuring smooth operational deliveries. You will be responsible for analyzing production characteristics, managing Level 1 (L1) non-conformities, defining temporary production instructions, and preparing dispositions for Level 2 (L2) non-conformities. Your goal? Advancing to a Non-Conformity (NC) approver role while continuously improving production processes.

Your responsibilities

• Develop technical solutions to complex problems, ensuring compliance with GKN Aerospace Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing development and integration for production.
• Resolve issues related to vendor schedules and quality.
• Utilize root cause analysis, preventative and corrective actions to reduce non-conformities.
• Oversee the implementation of tooling and production planning using Zero Defect Manufacturing (ZDM) methodologies.
• Manage product development, first article development, configuration changes, and build process implementation.
• Deliver measurable, results-driven improvements aligned with Operational & Program goals.
• Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Continuously improve production processes by implementing Lean initiatives.

Wie ben jij?

• Experience in product/process introduction (industrialization) and production process improvements.
• 3 to 7 years experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
• A degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Automotive, or related field).
• Strong influencing and relationship-building skills within a global organization.
• Working knowledge of LEAN processes and quality systems (ISO9000, AS9100, or D1-9000).
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills.
• Knowledge and experience with hard metals;
• Familiarity with machining processes (milling, mill-turn, boring, honing) and/or surface treatment processes (heat treatment, plating, shot-peen, NDI) is a strict requirement.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred

• Strong influencing and relationship-building skills within a global organization.
• Working knowledge of LEAN processes and quality systems (ISO9000, AS9100).
