Deze organisatie is een technisch georiënteerd productiebedrijf dat zich richt op het ontwerpen en engineeren van systemen en apparaten voor de procesindustrie. Het team in Wateringen werkt primair aan mechanische ontwerpen, berekeningen en de verdere uitwerking van constructies volgens geldende ontwerpcodes en specificaties. De organisatie levert ontwerpdocumentatie, technische tekeningen en ondersteuning aan werkvoorbereiding en fabrication zodat projecten conform contractvoorwaarde verlopen. In de dagelijkse praktijk wordt veel gewerkt met 3 D-modellering en PDM-systemen en vinden berekeningen en optimalisaties plaats met behulp van FEM-software. De organisatie onderhoudt relaties met vaste leveranciers en is technisch aanspreekpunt richting deze partners tijdens het ontwerp- en fabricageproces. Daarnaast voert de organisatie interne en externe testactiviteiten uit en ondersteunt bij prototyping en fabricagesupport. Het team in Wateringen bestaat uit engineers die projecten vanuit een technische projectorganisatie uitvoeren en nauw samenwerken met projectleiders, werkvoorbereiding en productie. De organisatie hecht waarde aan kennisdeling en het ontwikkelen van technisch leiderschap binnen het team.

Functie-inhoud:

• Als Constructeur Mechanisch ben je verantwoordelijk voor
• Het ontwerpen en berekenen van mechanische componenten en drukvaten volgens specificaties en ontwerpcodes
• Als Constructeur Mechanisch modelleer je ongeveer 50% van je tijd in Solid Works met PDM Vault
• Je voert berekeningen en optimalisatie uit met FEM-software en besteedt circa 20% van je tijd hieraan
• Je stemt verwachtingen af met projectleiders en andere betrokkenen en bewaakt dat ontwerpen voldoen aan contractvoorwaarden
• Je treedt op als technisch aanspreekpunt richting 5–10 vaste leveranciers en ondersteunt fabrication en prototyping

Functie-eisen:

• Ervaring met het ontwerpen en berekenen van drukvaten en mechanische componenten in de procesindustrie
• Ervaring met Solid Works en PDM Vault voor modellering en documentbeheer

As Lead Data Center Engineer you carry responsibility for a complete data center site, or for a defined part of one: full power infrastructure in Tier 4 data centers, from preparation and engineering through installation to handover. You build the planning and the phasing, spread the teams across the work and hold progress against what was agreed. HSE is not a side issue here, you set how the work is done safely and, as work responsible person and installation responsible person, you put that on paper. Towards the client you are adviser and point of contact: you think along on choices, align with the manufacturer that commissions the systems, and keep the process on site running as tightly as possible. No management layer above you, but a direct line to the leadership and influence on how First Case sets up its work technically.

The essentials: Salary €4.900 to €5.900 per month 38 hours per week Fulltime Based in Wateringen.

As Lead you earn €4.900 at entry, rising to €5.900 through the CAO pay grades. This is the highest technical role at First Case: there is no higher up the technical path.

What you bring

• Extensive experience (8+ years) as an electrical engineer or engineer in commercial and industrial buildings, with responsibility for critical installations
• Knowledge of UPS systems and backup power, in-depth experience with them is a strong plus
• NEN 3140 VP, VCA VOL and NEN 1010
• You are the work responsible person (WV) and installation responsible person (IV) under NEN 3140
• Proven experience in project leadership, planning and client advice at senior level
• You can lead technical teams and are the face of First Case to the biggest clients
• You own HSE on site: safe working, work plan and toolbox talks, and you hold people to it
• You plan and organise the work: phasing, staffing, materials and progress
• English at working level

What you bring

• Solid experience as an electrical engineer in commercial and industrial buildings, for example offices, healthcare, industry or data centers
• MBO 3 Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of UPS and backup power systems, extensive experience with them is a welcome plus

You prepare the work, write the work plan, align with the client and with the manufacturer, and sign off on the handover. As work responsible person and installation responsible person you decide how the work is done safely and who may do what. Apprentices and assistants work beside you and you train them into engineers who can run a job on their own, because that is how the team grows with demand. Extensive UPS experience is welcome, but what counts is that you learned the trade in commercial and industrial buildings and dare to carry responsibility.

Als Senior Datacenter Monteur draai je de projecten waar het op aankomt: complete installaties in de zwaarst beveiligde datacenters van Europa, belastingtesten met de loadbank en de storingen die niemand anders opgelost krijgt. Je bereidt het werk voor, maakt het werkplan, stemt af met de klant en met de fabrikant en tekent af op de oplevering. Als werkverantwoordelijke en installatieverantwoordelijke bepaal jij hoe er veilig gewerkt wordt en wie wat mag doen. Naast je staan leerlingen en assistenten die jij opleidt tot monteurs die zelfstandig draaien, want zo groeit het team mee met de vraag. Ruime UPS-ervaring is mooi meegenomen, maar wat telt is dat je het vak in de utiliteit hebt geleerd en verantwoordelijkheid durft te dragen.
