About HyperProp

HyperProp is a trading platform built from the ground up for the prop firm world. Prop firms list and sell their evaluations directly on HyperProp, and traders take those evaluations and trade them on our own platform - order entry, matching, live P&L, and rule enforcement all happen on our infrastructure.

That means we own the whole stack: the matching and execution layer traders send orders into, the real-time risk engine that enforces each prop firm's evaluation rules, and the dashboards that show traders exactly where they stand. We run 24/7, and every millisecond between order and fill is ours to optimise. We're a small, fast-moving team building the platform serious traders get funded on. Now we're looking for a Software Architect to own the technical backbone and scale it to the next phase.

The role

As Software Developer, you'll own HyperProp's technical direction end to end - from the low-latency order entry and execution path, to the real-time risk engine that enforces prop firm evaluation rules on every trade, to the dashboards traders live in. Your decisions determine whether an order fills in time, whether a rule breach is caught the instant it happens, and whether a trader's evaluation result is correct.

This role is for someone with strong opinions about system design, an obsession with latency and correctness, and a taste for fast-moving scale-ups where the founding team is one message away.

What you'll own

The full HyperProp platform: the order entry and execution engine traders trade on, the real-time risk and evaluation-rule engine, the marketplace where prop firms list and sell evaluations, payout and drawdown tracking, and the live trader dashboards on top.

What you'll do

Design and own the architecture of HyperProp's core platform: order entry, execution/matching, the real-time risk and evaluation-rule engine, the prop-firm evaluation marketplace, and live dashboards.
Build and optimise the low-latency execution path in Rust and TypeScript - keeping order-to-fill and rule enforcement as fast as physically possible.
Architect scalable WebSocket infrastructure streaming order state, fills, and rule status to thousands of concurrent traders in real time.
Design the evaluation-rule engine so each prop firm's parameters (drawdown, targets, consistency rules) are enforced live and correctly on every trade.
Make infrastructure decisions across AWS and/or Azure, including caching with Redis and database design on Supabase / PostgreSQL.
Containerise and run services with Docker, maintaining reliability across environments in a 24/7 trading operation.
Fold AI-assisted development (Cursor, Claude) into the team's workflow to ship faster.
Work directly with the founding team on product direction and technical strategy.
Set coding standards, review architecture decisions, and mentor engineers as the team grows.

What we're looking for

_ 5+ years in software architecture or senior engineering roles. _
_ AI-native mindset: Cursor and Claude are a natural part of how you work. _
_ Deep experience with low-latency systems - trading platforms, exchanges, matching engines, fintech, or similar real-time domains. _
Strong command of TypeScript / JavaScript; ideally Rust for performance-critical components.
Hands-on with AWS and/or Azure, including infrastructure design and cost optimisation.
Solid understanding of WebSocket architectures and real-time data delivery.
Experience with Redis for caching, pub/sub, and session management.
Comfortable with Docker and containerised deployment pipelines.

What We Look For:

• 10+ years of deep experience in full-stack engineering, with proven, hands-on mastery of PHP (strictly Symfony framework) and modern frontend development (preferably Svelte).
• Strong foundational programming skills, with the ability to write custom, low-level logic and clean architecture from scratch, rather than relying solely on framework abstractions, scripting and AI.

About this role:

Just Eat Takeaway is building the next generation of partner acquisition, onboarding and partner success. As a Technical Process Manager - Omnichannel, you sit at the heart of this work - translating high-level commercial goals into detailed, buildable process specifications for Salesforce, self-service, and agentic tooling across the partner journey.

You don't just document how things work today; you challenge the status quo and propose radical improvements. You are the connective tissue between commercial intent and technical execution, aligning domain experts, solution architects, UX designers, and developers into one coherent delivery stream.

You independently own requirements documentation and testing execution within agreed design frameworks, escalating cross-platform architecture changes to the Principal Process Architect.

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

• Requirements engineering: Translate high-level commercial goals into detailed functional specifications for Salesforce (evolving for both SMB and strategic account sellers), Partner Hub, agentic tooling, and partner CRM workstreams. You independently author user stories, acceptance criteria, and data flow diagrams to a standard sufficient for direct development handoff - down to specifics like the mandatory Salesforce data points required to trigger contract generation in our self-service journey.
• Solution design and radical improvement: Challenge existing process designs to propose improvements, applying practical knowledge of Salesforce and agentic platform capabilities to identify technically superior alternatives. You present recommendations in design reviews, and you're here to improve things radically, not incrementally.
• Gap analysis and impact assessment: Conduct gap analysis on existing functional requirements, producing structured impact assessments that document system touchpoints, data dependencies, and downstream effects. Flag risks and dependencies clearly for stakeholders; assessments are reviewed by the Principal Process Architect before approval.
• Delivery documentation: Create and maintain end-to-end process documentation with entry and exit criteria, system touchpoints, decision logic, and external dependencies across assigned workstreams, held in the central process repository as a complete package describing how a process should work.
• Testing and validation: Drive E2E testing and validation for tooling and process changes. You independently write and execute test scripts, manage defect logging, and confirm sign-off criteria are met before each production release, so operational enhancements roll out smoothly and without disruption. No downstream impact gets overlooked.
• Stakeholder engagement: Engage process and topic owners and domain experts across sales, customer service, web, and operations, alongside solution architects, UX and web designers, and developers.

What will you bring to the table?

• 6+ years in business analysis or technical product management, with hands-on Salesforce experience.
• A proven record of producing developer-ready specs: user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flow diagrams that tech teams can execute against effortlessly.
• Familiarity with self-service journey design and agentic tooling. Salesforce Agentforce is a strong advantage.
• Strong systems thinking: gap analysis, downstream impact assessment, and edge case identification. You spot the hidden impacts and potential disruptions to existing ways of working before they become real-world issues.
• Cross-domain breadth across sales, marketing, operations, and customer service - you understand the priorities and language of each, and how those functions connect.
• Confident communication at every level, from daily standups with engineers to aligning process scope with senior commercial and product stakeholders.

Dit ga je doen als Solution Architect bij Integrale bijsturing
Als solution architect vorm jij de verbindende schakel tussen business en IT. Je staat midden in de organisatie: op de werkvloer werk je nauw samen met onze teams en weet je precies wat er speelt. Vanuit de behoeften van de business ontwerp je samen met lead developers de techniek en functionaliteit voor de realisatie van complexe oplossingen.

Daarbij houd je voortdurend oog voor belangrijke kaders en doelstellingen, zoals standaardisatie, schaalbaarheid, herbruikbaarheid, performance, security en beschikbaarheid. Zo zorg je ervoor dat oplossingen niet alleen vandaag goed werken, maar ook klaar zijn voor de toekomst.

Samen met de andere solution- en leadarchitecten binnen het cluster ontwikkel je een visie op de positie van onze softwarecomponenten binnen het bredere applicatielandschap van NS. Die visie komt niet alleen voort uit theorie: je hebt aantoonbare ervaring met het ontwerpen én bouwen van bedrijfskritische omgevingen binnen een zelfbouwomgeving. Je weet uit de praktijk wat ervoor nodig is om software continu beschikbaar te houden en spreekt de taal van de developers met wie je samen oplossingen realiseert.

Je bewaakt dat onze oplossingsrichtingen op hoofdlijnen aansluiten bij wet- en regelgeving en de architectuurkaders van NS. Ook blijf je goed op de hoogte van ontwikkelingen binnen de organisatie en vertaal je veranderingen naar de impact op lopende en nieuwe projecten.

Daarnaast ben je een ambassadeur van onze manier van werken. Binnen NS werken we volgens een Agile framework (SAFe) en zetten we volop in op DevOps-principes, zoals Continuous Integration en Continuous Delivery. Zo draag jij bij aan oplossingen die betrouwbaar, toekomstbestendig én van grote waarde zijn voor NS en onze reizigers.

Een greep uit jouw dagelijkse werkzaamheden:

• Ontwerpen van (high-level) oplossingsrichtingen, in lijn met de gestelde eisen, samen met de lead developers.
• Adviseren over gekozen oplossingen bij stakeholders zoals de Product Owners, IT lead en Lead Solution Architect.
• Vastleggen en onderbouwen van architectuurbeslissingen in Architecture Decision Records (ADR's), zodat keuzes later nog te herleiden zijn.
• Ontwerpen en bewaken van koppelingen en interfaces met andere domeinen en ketenpartners, zoals API's, eventstromen en berichtuitwisseling.
• Afstemmen met architecten van andere domeinen om de samenhang in het landschap te borgen en dubbel werk te voorkomen.
• Afstemmen met de Product Owners over de roadmap van de business, enabler epics, de prioritering op de backlog en de architectural runway.
• Regie nemen op en richting geven aan de voor de architectuur benodigde deliverables (denk hierbij bijvoorbeeld aan het beheren van het datamodel met diverse betrokkenen, zowel binnen als buiten ons domein).
• Documenteren en controleren van opgeleverde architectuur- en engineeringproducten.
• Uitdragen van de doelarchitectuur en architectuur-roadmap van het bijsturingsdomein.

Hier ga je werken
Ons cluster is onderdeel van IT Operatie. Deze afdeling levert alle IT die nodig is om de treindienst van NS iedere dag veilig en betrouwbaar uit te voeren. Ons cluster ontwikkelt en beheert de software waarmee we de treindienst kunnen bijsturen wanneer zich verstoringen, afwijkingen of conflicten voordoen in de dienstregeling, het materieel of de personeelsinzet.

Met deze software ondersteunen we onze bijstuurders bij het oplossen van de complexe logistieke puzzel. Zo zorgen we ervoor dat zij snel en doeltreffend kunnen handelen en NS een zo betrouwbaar mogelijke treindienst aan onze reizigers kan blijven bieden. Onze software is dan ook mission critical en moet 24/7 beschikbaar zijn.

Binnen het cluster werken meerdere agile ontwikkelteams aan de ontwikkeling en doorontwikkeling van onze applicaties. Tegelijkertijd staan we aan de vooravond van een verdere opschaling. We bouwen aan een integraal IT-landschap waarmee we de bijsturing nog beter kunnen ondersteunen. Dat heeft een grote impact op zowel onze IT als onze organisatie, maar biedt tegelijkertijd een prachtige uitdaging en volop kansen om de digitalisering binnen NS verder vorm te geven.

Ook grote NS-initiatieven, zoals Fundamenteel Spoor en ERTMS, hebben invloed op ons cluster. Deze initiatieven brengen veranderingen in onze businessprocessen met zich mee. Samen vertalen we die veranderingen naar de impact op onze IT-producten en zorgen we ervoor dat onze oplossingen daarop aansluiten.

Dit vertaalt zich in de volgende functie eisen:

• WO/HBO werk- en denkniveau.
• 5+ jaar ervaring in een architectuur- of vergelijkbare rol.
• Kennis van beheer, data- en securityrichtlijnen, en requirements engineering.
• Aantoonbaar ervaring met architectuurmethoden, technieken, tools, frameworks, etc. Certificeringen zoals TOGAF en ArchiMate zijn een pré.
• Ervaring met Scrum, SAFe, CI/CD en DevOps (mindset en tooling)
• Je hebt ervaring binnen grote/complexe organisaties. Je bent in staat om mee te bewegen met verandering.
• Je bent analytisch sterk en je haalt voldoening uit het doorgronden van complexe processen en ketens.
• Je bent coachend naar de DevOps teams en begeleidt hen in hun dagelijkse ontwikkelproces.
• Ruime ervaring met het zelf ontwikkelen van software.
• Ruime ervaring met gedistribueerde systemen en event-driven of (near) real-time architecturen.
• Ervaring met Domain-Driven Design
• Je kunt complexe technische vraagstukken helder uitleggen aan zowel developers als Product Owners en management, en weet anderen mee te nemen in je keuzes.
• Kennis van Java, React en Azure is een pre.
• Ervaring met het logistieke domein is een pre.
• Je bent ook bezig met je eigen werkwijze steeds verder te verbeteren en staat open voor veranderingen in tooling en proces rondom architectuur, zeker met de komst van genAI.

• Een salaris tussen € 4.488,- en € 7.515- bruto per maand (o.b.v. 36-urige werkweek), afhankelijk van je kennis en ervaring.

• 144 uur wettelijk verlof (o.b.v. een fulltime dienstverband) + extra verlof afhankelijk van leeftijd (minimaal een week).
• De mogelijkheid om 3 christelijke feestdagen om te ruilen voor 3 niet-christelijke feestdagen.
