As a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer CAM Engineer you will be responsible for creating NC programs for multi-axis milling and mill-turn machines, as well as providing essential shop floor support to CNC machine operators. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and precise manufacturing of landing gear parts, and you will play a key role in solving machining problems as they arise.

What you'll do

• Develop / optimize NC programs for multi-axis milling and mill-turn machines using advanced CAM software.
• Provide hands-on shop floor support to CNC operators, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues on the shop floor to maintain production quality and efficiency.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure that machining processes meet the required specifications and standards.
• Continuously improve machining processes and contribute to the development of best practices within the department.
• Utilize root cause analysis, preventative and corrective action to reduce / eliminate non-conformances.
• Develop / improve standard operation procedures (SOP).

Wie ben jij?

• Bachelor's in engineering (e.g. Engineering, Manufacturing Technology).
• 5 Years' experience in a hard metal manufacturing and a passion for precision, multi-axis machining.
• Proficient in using CATIA V5. Experience with TopSolid, Siemens NX CAM, Vericut, CrashGuard, Tooltech and TDM is an advantage.
• Strong ability to read and interpret Siemens NC code and Heidenhain.
• Extensive experience with on-machine probing.
• Experience and knowledge with hard metals;
• Proven experience with deep-hole drilling, mill-turning and turning techniques.
• Solid background in operating and programming CNC machines, with a deep understanding of multi-axis milling and mill-turn operations. Problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of GD&T.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to support production activities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with CNC operators and other team members.

Wat ga je doen
Maak met jouw handen het verschil met het draaien van verschillende maten kabels. Als machine operator op de afdeling Kabel ben je verantwoordelijk voor de nauwkeurige maatvoering en verwerking van onze technische kabels. Je staat aan de machine en zorgt voor een feilloze afhandeling van de orders. Je bedient de apparatuur om de juiste kabel haspels te ontvangen en te positioneren. Vervolgens voer je de exacte snijopdrachten in. Jouw precisie is belangrijk, want je levert de kabel op de juiste lengte aan onze klanten. Een functie met direct resultaat op de bouw en industrie!

• Je zorgt voor de juiste ontvangst en positionering van de binnenkomende kabelhaspels bij de machine.
• Je voert de exacte specificaties en snijopdrachten in de machine in. Je garandeert dat de kabel op de millimeter nauwkeurig wordt afgemeten en gesneden.
• Jouw nauwkeurigheid en oog voor detail zijn van belang. Je levert een mooi product aan onze klanten in de bouw en installatietechniek!

wat ga je doen
Geen dag is hetzelfde. Samen met je collega's start je de dag met een teamoverleg waarin de planning en prioriteiten worden besproken. Vervolgens werk je uiterst nauwkeurig aan het opbouwen van vliegtuigonderdelen door verschillende lagen metaal en lijmfilms samen te stellen. Na het productieproces worden de onderdelen uitgehard in een autoclaaf en verder afgewerkt voordat ze doorgaan naar de volgende productiestap.
