De Functie-  Shift Leader:

Als Shift Leader zorg jij ervoor dat alles tijdens jouw shift op rolletjes loopt. Je ondersteunt de General Manager wanneer die aanwezig is, maar bij afwezigheid ben jij de eindverantwoordelijke. Je stuurt het team aan, helpt klanten, ondersteunt in de keuken en pakt alles op wat nodig is. Een echte allrounder dus!

• Flexibele beschikbaarheid (ochtend-, middag- en avonddiensten)

Wat je gaat doen:

• 40% Klanten helpen

• 30% Schoonmaken, opruimen en bijvullen

• 10% Administratie

• 10% Klachten en problemen oplossen

• 10% Team aansturen

Opleiding & Ontwikkeling:

• Training over onze producten en ingrediënten

• Leren omgaan met verschillende klantensituaties

• Doorgroeimogelijkheden binnen de organisatie

Wat krijg je ervoor terug:

• €13,75 – €14,50 bruto per uur (afhankelijk van je leeftijd en of je een SVH-certificaat hebt)

• 8% vakantiegeld

• Van 10 uur per week tot een fulltime dienstverband (38 uur)

• Betaalde pauzes

• Vakantiedagen op basis van gewerkte uren

• Pensioenregeling

Werktijden:

• Ochtenddiensten: Voorbereiden van het eten

• Avonddiensten: Grondig schoonmaken en de winkel sluiten

At GXO's state-of-the-art distribution centre in Lelystad, you'll play a key role in shaping the next phase of our growth. As we continue to expand, we're looking for an experienced Operations Manager who is excited by the opportunity to make a real impact.

In this role, you'll take ownership of a 24/7 outbound and dispatch operation, leading large teams across rotating shifts. You'll have the autonomy to drive performance, embed a strong safety culture, and develop your people - all while delivering operational excellence at scale.

Your role as Operations Manager

As Operations Manager, you are accountable for end to end execution within your shift and for contributing to overall site performance. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading daily operational execution within your rotation, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient outbound and dispatch activities
• Driving performance through KPIs, dashboards and data insights, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions
• Championing LEAN, continuous improvement and process standardisation, ensuring operations remain scalable and consistent
• Coaching and developing Warehouse Managers and their teams, including performance management, training and succession planning
• Planning and allocating staff, workload and resources across shifts in close collaboration with support functions and the customer
• Creating a safe, inclusive and engaging working environment, maintaining up to date procedures, documentation and compliance standards
• Working closely with and reporting directly to the Head of Operations, aligning on priorities, performance expectations and execution

What we're looking for

You bring senior operational experience and a strong leadership mindset. You ideally have:

• 5+ years' experience in a complex, high volume warehouse or supply chain environment, ideally with exposure to automation
• Proven experience of managing Managers and leading/ developing large teams (50+ employees) with the ability to influence across multiple levels
• Strong communication skills in English (additional languages such as Dutch, or Spanish are a plus)
• A hands on, resilient and results driven approach, with the ability to perform under pressure without compromising standards
• Strong analytical, reporting and financial understanding, with the ability to turn data into action
• A continuous improvement mindset and a genuine motivation to grow - personally and professionally
• Ability to work shifts which includes nights and weekends (Shift allowance is payable)
