Team Lead Customer Service

Full time (40 hours a week)

Essential duties and responsibilities

In the position as Team lead customer service you, together with the customer service team are responsible for the entire quoting, order, and logistics process. You lead, support and motivate the customer service team on a daily basis.

• Together with the team you ensure customers receive timely, professional, and solution-oriented support.
• You monitor service quality, response times, and customer satisfaction. Coach team members and support their professional development.
• Identify knowledge gaps and organize training and knowledge-sharing within the team. Act as a point of escalation for complex customer issues.
• Encourage collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Conduct regular team meetings and one-to-one conversations.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of new team members.

Requirements for success

• Experience in Customer Service required
• Excellent skills on Microsoft Excel and data visualization preferred
• Decision making skills, including the ability to quickly understand and analyze new information and situations.
• Previous experience coordinating or leading a team.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset.
• The ability to prioritize and remain calm when dealing with multiple requests.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to take ownership.
• The ability to coach, motivate, and develop colleagues.
• An eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
• An interest in improving processes and ways of working.
• Good command of English and Dutch
