Als Quality Control Inspector bij ECS Electronics bewaak je de kwaliteit van materialen, componenten en eindproducten in een internationale automotive omgeving. Je werkt dicht op de productie en ziet direct wat jouw controles betekenen voor het vervolg van het proces. Constateren, vastleggen en ingrijpen horen bij jouw rol. Wanneer een product niet voldoet, zorg jij dat het wordt geblokkeerd, dat vervolgacties worden uitgezet en dat de registratie klopt. Jouw rol Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het bewaken van product- en proceskwaliteit: vanaf binnenkomst van materialen tot en met de eindcontrole. Daarbij werk je samen met collega’s binnen productie, logistiek, engineering en supplier quality. Je voert inkomende kwaliteitscontroles uit op materialen, componenten en halffabricaten aan de hand van tekeningen, specificaties, controleplannen en inspectie-instructies. Je controleert documentatie, identificatie, labeling en traceerbaarheid. Je voert procescontroles en eindcontroles uit op onder andere trailermodules, kabelbomen en EV-laadkabels. Je doet visuele, dimensionele en functionele controles en gebruikt daarbij de juiste meet- en testapparatuur. Je signaleert, identificeert, isoleert en blokkeert non-conforme producten. Je coördineert containment acties, zoals quarantaine, sortering, herinspectie en gecontroleerde vrijgave. Je stelt Nonconformity Reports op en levert input voor root-cause analyses en 8D-activiteiten. Je voert product audits en Layered Process Audits uit en ondersteunt bij het naleven van IATF 16949 en ISO 14001. Daarnaast analyseer en rapporteer je kwaliteitsdata, zoals scrap, rework en terugkerende afwijkingen. Zo draag je bij aan structurele verbeteringen in het productieproces. Wie we zoeken Je bent een kwaliteitsprofessional die nauwkeurig werkt, duidelijk communiceert en durft in te grijpen wanneer een product of proces niet voldoet. Je hebt MBO werk- en denkniveau. Je hebt minimaal 3 jaar ervaring als QC Controller, Quality Inspector, kwaliteitscontroleur of quality control medewerker binnen een productieomgeving. Je hebt ervaring met incoming goods inspection. Je weet hoe je non-conforme producten blokkeert, beheerst en opvolgt. Je hebt ervaring met kwaliteitsregistraties en werkt met QMS- en/of ERP-systemen. Je kunt goed werken met Microsoft Office, vooral Excel. Je beheerst Nederlands en Engels goed, mondeling en schriftelijk. Je werkt gestructureerd, registreert zorgvuldig en houdt overzicht wanneer meerdere afdelingen betrokken zijn. Ervaring binnen de automotive industrie is een sterke pré. As a QC Controller, you are responsible for ensuring that products and processes meet the required quality standards. You play a key role on the shop floor, where you perform inspections, audits and quality checks throughout the production process. You act as a gatekeeper for quality: when you identify non-conforming products, you take immediate action to prevent these products from moving to the next production step or reaching the customer. You will work in an automotive manufacturing environment where accuracy, quality and process discipline are essential. Your role As a QC Controller, you are responsible for monitoring and maintaining product and process quality from incoming goods through to the final product. You identify deviations, coordinate containment actions and ensure that quality issues are properly documented and followed up. Your responsibilities include: Performing incoming goods inspections on materials, components and sub-assemblies based on drawings, specifications, control plans and inspection instructions. Checking documentation, identification, labeling and traceability. Performing in-process and final inspections on trailer modules, wiring harnesses and EV charging cables. Conducting visual, dimensional and functional inspections where applicable. Ensuring compliance with sampling plans and reaction plans and escalating recurring or significant defects. Supporting first-off and last-off checks where required. Planning and performing product audits in line with internal procedures and IATF expectations. Executing and coordinating Layered Process Audits (LPA) on the shop floor. Identifying, segregating, labeling and blocking non-conforming products. Managing containment actions, including quarantine, sorting, re-inspection, rework verification and controlled release. Creating and managing Nonconformity Reports (NCRs) and providing clear input for root-cause analyses and 8D activities. Using measuring and test equipment correctly and ensuring equipment is within calibration. Supporting compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001. Providing quality data and insights on scrap, rework and recurring issues to support continuous improvement. You will work closely with Production, Logistics, Engineering and Supplier Quality to ensure quality issues are addressed effectively and in a timely manner. Your profile We are looking for an experienced quality professional who is precise, structured and confident enough to take action when quality standards are not met. You have: At least 3 years of experience in a similar QC Controller, Quality Inspector or Quality Control position within a manufacturing environment. Experience with incoming goods inspection. Proven experience identifying, blocking and controlling non-conforming products. Experience working with QMS and/or ERP systems for quality registrations. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Professional working proficiency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written. Strong attention to detail and a clear “right-first-time” mindset. The confidence to stop a process or block products when required from a quality perspective. A pragmatic and structured approach to problem-solving. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with different departments. A high level of integrity and accuracy when handling quality data and documentation. Experience within the automotive industry is preferred. what will you do
As a Quality Control Inspector and quality checker, you are essential to keeping the warehouse process running smoothly at GXO LOGISTICS SERVICES NETHERLANDS B.V.. You start with an onboarding training program scheduled from 07:00 to 16:00. Following training, you work in a 2-shift schedule from Monday to Friday: week 1 morning shift (06:00 – 15:00) and week 2 evening shift (13:00 – 22:00). You perform precise quality checks and spot audits on inbound and outbound shipments. You verify cargo documentation, perform stock counts, and log data in the WMS system. A VOG screening is required for this position.
