Overview

As a Project Manager at Fluence, you will lead turn-key EPC battery energy storage projects, ensuring delivery on time and on budget with safe execution. You operate in a matrixed, global environment, coordinating with finance, engineering and procurement to hand over projects to operations. You will drive quality and continuous improvement under ISO 9001 guidelines, resolving technical issues and managing stakeholder relationships. This role offers visibility to executives and a chance to shape large-scale energy infrastructure with a fast-paced, agile mindset.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Manage turn-key EPC battery energy storage projects from contract through handover
• Ensure safety, code compliance, schedule and budget adherence
• Lead cross-functional teams across life-cycle stages (engineering, procurement, finance)
• Rapidly resolve technical issues to meet quality, time and cost targets
• Oversee contractors and ensure site safety and schedule compliance
• Coordinate with EPC, equipment delivery, partners, and customers to meet contract requirements
• Identify cost-saving and value-engineering opportunities
• Support project contracts negotiations and budget/cash-flow forecasting with project finance
• Represent Fluence in communications with customers, regulators, and partners
• Contribute to business improvement initiatives and document project plans and changes
• Lead with Fluence values (Leading, Agile, Responsible, Fun) across the program
• Report to Senior Manager Projects and operate within the Project Management organization

Belangrijkste vereisten

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or other technical discipline

• Combined 5 years' experience in project/ construction management or engineering in the power generation market

• Minimum 3 years P&L responsibility delivering equipment supply or turn-key projects

• Over 1 year experience managing subcontractor contracts

• Experience leading a matrix project organization with 6+ functions

• Valid Senior Project Management certification (e.g., PMI PgMP, IPMA Level B)

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Knowledge of DS3 Services, Eirgrid Grid Code and SEM is a plus

• Business-level English

• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 30% of time
