• € 18.03 gross per hour (excluding 34% shift bonus)

To get started as an assembly worker at DAF Trucks, you have to meet the following requirements:

• You are physically able to lift up to 20 kg
• You live within 50 kilometers of Eindhoven
• You have proven technical work experience or technical insight
• You speak and read Dutch, English or German
• You can work in 2 shifts (07:00 - 15:30 - 15:30 - 0:00)
• You are available to work 40 hours per week
• You are available to start within 6 weeks
• You would like to work for a longer period of time

As an assembly worker, you will work in the engine or truck factory.
In the engine factory and truck factory there are automatically controlled assembly lines. Here an engine block is assembled into a complete engine or a chassis is assembled into a complete truck. In the factory, you work in a department in a team of about 15 colleagues. Each team is responsible for connecting, fastening or adjusting certain parts to the engine or truck. For example, you mount the crankshaft, piston, camshaft or gearbox in or on the engine block. Or you’ll mount the engine, tires, or cab onto the chassis on the truck. The work takes place at a high pace. In production work, you use various types of tools and machines.

The DAF site is incredibly large and is located just outside the center of Eindhoven. The production facility in Eindhoven is therefore: about 900,000 m2. In total, more than 7,000 employees work at the Eindhoven site. So, a total of approx. 51,000 trucks were produced in 2024. Come and join the team as an assembly worker!
