As a warehouse employee we ask the following:

• You have a car, bike, or scooter to commute;
• You speak basic English or Dutch;
• You are available for a minimum of three days;
• You are flexible and available to work all two shifts:  evening/night shift 20:00 – 05:00, night shift 01:30 – 10:00;
• You are able to work physical by moving roll containers full of packages;

PostNL Zaltbommel is a transfer and storage location, also known as a cross-dock, not a sorting center. A lot of trucks come to the depot; some arrive to unload roll containers, while others come to load them. You will ensure that containers are correctly placed for each driver, assisting with both loading and unloading. This includes positioning containers so they are ready for the next driver or stored temporarily without obstructing others. Arriving at the large PostNL warehouse in Zaltbommel, you greet your colleagues and grab a quick drink. You put on your work shoes, store your belongings in a locker, and get ready to start your shift!

• Working days: Monday through Sunday.
• Working hours:  evening/night shift 20:00 – 05:00, night shift 01:30 – 10:00.

So, what exactly does a logistic employee do at PostNL Zaltbommel? As a transfer and storage location for PostNL, you will be working with your colleagues to load and unload trucks. Drivers come and go throughout the day. You will help them by unloading roll containers and placing them in the correct storage areas. You will do this at a steady pace, allowing the drivers to get back on the road quickly. If an empty truck arrives, you will help with loading, ensuring the correct containers go with the driver. Since trucks arrive at various times, your work operates on a rotating shift schedule.

As a logistic employee, you will be part of an international team. Together you will ensure each driver sends the correct roll containers out. Drivers come and go frequently, and team leaders are open to your ideas if you see ways to improve the process. The process manager and (assistant) team leaders are also from the Tempo Team. Je start je dag met een bak koffie en checkt direct welke vrachtwagens er voor de deur staan. Zodra de deuren opengaan, zorg jij samen met je team dat alle nieuwe goederen netjes worden binnengehaald. Je controleert of alles klopt, scant de producten en zorgt dat alles op de juiste plek in het magazijn terechtkomt. Of je nu in de ochtendzon begint of juist de avondploeg draait, jij zorgt dat de voorraad altijd tiptop in orde is. De sfeer is energiek en de tijd vliegt voorbij terwijl je lekker fysiek bezig bent!

Je komt terecht bij een bekende groothandel die gespecialiseerd is in sanitair en verwarming. Het is een bedrijf waar een informele sfeer hangt en waar collega's echt voor elkaar klaarstaan.
