Your role as a Delivery Driver

• Start at the hub: load crates into your van, check your route & battery
• Deliver to 15-18 addresses per 3-hour shift, usually within a 10 km radius
• Help customers with questions; you are the face of Picnic in the neighborhood
• Drive back and finish your route, hand in your van, and grab a well-deserved snack

Your profile

• Valid driver's license (Category B) and at least 18 years old
• Positive energy, customer-oriented, and responsible
• Available 16-40 hours per week, including regular evening or weekend shifts
• Fit enough to walk a lot and lift boxes

Working hours - you choose

• Morning: 07:00-10:30 or 10:00-12:30 (location dependent)
• Afternoon/Evening: 14:00-16:45 | 16:45-19:30 | 19:30-22:30

Claim your shifts weekly in the app (super flexible as a side job!). Can't make it after all? Swap with a colleague up to 24 hours in advance. We only ask for 6 fixed availability slots per week – you decide which ones.

As a Transport Driver at Schiphol-Rijk, you make sure air cargo moves quickly, safely, and accurately across the airport. You work full-time in an international air cargo operation at one of Europe's busiest airports. € 16.58 to € 20.28 gross per hour, with shift allowances up to 200% and room to grow. Good work! As a Transport Driver in the air cargo sector at Schiphol-Rijk, you make sure goods are moved quickly, safely, and accurately across the airport. You handle both the transport and the documentation that goes with it, in a fast-paced 24/7 environment. Your daily tasks:

• Transporting cargo between aircraft and different airport locations using a freight tractor
• Checking cargo against delivery numbers and paperwork
• Reporting discrepancies and ensuring proper documentation
• Handing over cargo and documents to ramp staff or external handlers
• Working both independently and as part of a team to keep everything running smoothly

Because of the airport's round-the-clock operations, you work rotating shifts: a mix of early, late, and night shifts.

• 06:30 – 14:30
• 14:30 – 22:30
• 22:30 – 06:30

Wat wij vragen

• Secondary vocational (VMBO/MBO) level of thinking and working
• Valid category B driving licence
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar transport or logistics role (e.g. transport assistant, cargo handler, logistics operator)
• Good command of Dutch and/or English (spoken and written)
• Able to work flexibly in rotating shifts, including nights and weekends
• Willing to undergo aviation security clearance (VGB)

What will you do
As a delivery driver for Albert Heijn, you are the shopping carrier on wheels! Your working day starts by collecting the key and the route list at the collection desk. The first days, you will ride along with a buddy. You quickly grab some food from the refrigerator. Then it’s time to hit the road! You drive to the right addresses via your navigation. Once you get here, you scan the correct crates with groceries with a handheld scanner. You bring the groceries to the front door. You just need to complete the payment and then you're ready to go! At the end of the day, you return to the depot. Here, you clean your bus for the next day. Do you have questions about the route? Then you can contact planning & support! :)

Working days: Monday to Sunday.
Working hours: decide for yourself when you work between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Where will you work

This can be found at Aquamarijnweg 2 in Bleiswijk. Do you have private transport? This makes the location easy to reach! Get to know your team and drink a cup of coffee together. Or play a game together to relax before you start delivering! Would you like to work as a training buddy in the future? Then there are enough possibilities for this! Discover it yourself!
And after 13 weeks of work, your salary increases to €18,83 per hour! This includes 25 vacation days, holiday pay, ADV allowance, and a year-end bonus.
