In deze functie verzamel en verwerkt je klantbestellingen met behulp van een handscanner en een Elektrische Pallettruck (EPT). Je werkt in een magazijn waar alcoholische dranken worden opgeslagen en gedistribueerd, waardoor nauwkeurigheid, efficiëntie en veiligheid erg belangrijk zijn.

Je dagelijkse werkzaamheden bestaan uit orderpicken, het verplaatsen van pallets, het controleren van binnenkomende goederen, het aanvullen van voorraden en het verzendklaar maken van producten. Omdat sommige dozen en kratten met dranken zwaar kunnen zijn, is een goede fysieke conditie belangrijk. As an Orderpicker, you and your colleagues make sure all orders are processed smoothly and ready for dispatch on time. The Christmas season is a busy period, so there is plenty to do and everyone rolls up their sleeves to get the job done.

Your responsibilities include:

• Picking products based on incoming orders;
• Checking orders for accuracy and completeness;
• Lifting, carrying and moving boxes and goods;
• Packing orders and preparing them for shipment.

This is a temporary position from week 47 through week 52. After this period, we would be happy to help you find another suitable position through Carrière.

You will work in two shifts. The morning shift runs from 07:00 to 16:00, and the evening shift from 15:00 to 00:00. It is important that you are available for both shifts, as well as weekends when required.

Together with a dedicated team, you will make sure orders are carefully picked and prepared for shipment on time. The work environment is active and hands-on, with teamwork, a practical mindset and attention to detail at the heart of everything you do.

• You have your own accommodation in the Netherlands (accommodation is not provided);
• You have good communication skills in English or Dutch;
• You are available from week 47 through week 52 and willing to work morning, evening and weekend shifts;
• You are motivated, physically fit and able to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 23 kg.

• A gross hourly wage of €16.12 (including ADV allowance);

• Shift allowances:

  • +25% between 18:00 and 22:00;
  • +50% between 22:00 and 00:00;
  • +100% on Sundays;

• Travel allowance;

Who you are

As an order picker, it is important that you are looking for a long-term job. Additionally, it is important that you meet the following requirements:

• You can speak English, Polish or Dutch
• You are at least 165 cm tall and you are at least 18 years or older
• You are physically fit enough to lift, for example, a crate of 20 kilos of bananas
• You are available minimum 2 day on the weekdays and on Saturdays from 07:00 a.m. - 03:30 p.m. and in the night from 10:30 p.m. - 07:00 a.m. (only night shifts are not possible)
• You have a recent logistic experience
• You can work in a refrigerated environment around 4 degrees. You will work in the fresh department
• You are available the whole week during your first week from Monday to Friday. This is to attend training so that you are familiar with the work processes
• You are available for at least 6 months!

What will you do

As an orderpicker, you will be working in a large distribution center. Here are orders for Albert Heijn store branches prepared. You drive your own electric pallet truck (EPT) through the warehouse to collect orders. You do this using an order picking system. Via the voice picking system, you are told exactly where and which orders to collect. Have you found your order? Then you place the boxes on your pallet. A box of bananas, for example, can easily weigh 20 kilos. This is where you need to put your muscles to work! Furthermore, you work in a refrigerated environment, so the food stays nice and fresh. You will certainly stay nice and cool this summer!

• After the first training week, you will receive an EPT certificate.
• Work at a high tempo to achieve targets.
