Overview

As a Sports & Outdoor buyer, you shape the category by selecting brands and deals that customers want. You act as the commercial touchpoint for suppliers, building a strong network and pursuing valuable opportunities. You negotiate price, volume and terms, while actively driving sales, margin, stock and returns. You own the deal from first contact to final result, contributing to a fast-moving, data-driven e-commerce environment. This role offers impact through category leadership within a major European daily deals platform.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Define and secure brands, products and deals for the Sports & Outdoor category
• Monitor trends, competitors and consumer behavior to grow the category
• Act as the commercial contact for suppliers and build strategic relationships
• Negotiate price, volume and terms independently
• Drive sales, margin, stock and returns for negotiated deals
• Own end-to-end deal accountability from initial contact to final result

Belangrijkste vereisten

• Relevant commercial experience in purchasing, sales, account management or category management

• Commercial and entrepreneurial mindset with a sense for brands and trends

• Strong negotiator and relationship builder

• Analytical with ability to use data to inform decisions

• Bachelor or Master level education preferred (Bachelor as minimum)

• Good English speaking/writing skills; basic understanding of Dutch
