Overview

In this role you will manage the end-to-end supplier supply base, lead sourcing strategies, and drive cost-effective solutions. You will collaborate with the commodity management team to reduce risk and unlock value across sites and programs. The role combines supplier development, performance management, and negotiations to support program objectives. This position offers the opportunity to impact cost, efficiency, and supplier capability at a global aerospace leader.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Second escalation point for logistics performance
• Set up and monitor supplier improvement plans
• Develop supplier plans aligned with business needs
• Implement advanced logistics programs (e.g., VOI/VMI)
• Manage working capital purchased parts plan
• Establish global purchasing procedures and processes
• Coach and support Operational Purchasers across sites
• Coordinate material availability for new and development programs
• Monitor ERP item data setup
• Issue RFQs and evaluate quotations to alleviate shortages
• Support FCR change process
• Execute Supplier Excellence Program and on-site supplier assessments
• Periodically analyze non-moving inventory

Belangrijkste vereisten

• Bachelor degree in a relevant field (Supply Chain Management / Technical Business Administration)

• Knowledge of purchasing processes, MRP planning, forecasting and advanced logistics

• Strong interpersonal, presentation and data analytics skills

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

• Minimum 4 years in purchasing/supply chain in a production environment

• Experience in supplier assessment, KPI tracking and improvement initiatives

• Experience with ERP/planning systems
