Overview

In this role you strengthen Adyen's infrastructure by owning the identity and access management layer in production. You work across on-prem and cloud environments to ensure precise, auditable access for humans, systems and AI agents. You collaborate with Security, Compliance and other teams to harden and verify access policies, while keeping core infrastructure reliable and low-maintenance. You will shape IAM practices in a zero-trust environment and mentor others in a multidisciplinary team.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Maintain and improve IAM infrastructure for humans, systems, and AI agents across on-premise and cloud environments using Teleport and SPIFFE/SPIRE
• Define and enforce zero-trust, just-in-time and just-enough access policies
• Collaborate with Security and Compliance on access reviews, audits, and hardening
• Support and maintain core infrastructure components (LDAP, Puppet, Ansible, mail infrastructure) ensuring stability and security
• Act as escalation point for access and infrastructure issues and participate in blameless on-call rotation
• Share IAM and security knowledge within the team and across the engineering organization

Belangrijkste vereisten

• 8+ years of hands-on Linux systems engineering in large-scale production environments

• Strong IAM background with understanding of zero trust, least privilege, and just-in-time/just-enough access

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and IAM tooling (Teleport, SPIFFE/SPIRE, HashiCorp Vault)

• Knowledge of PKI, short-lived certificates and mTLS

• Deep knowledge of LDAP and Linux authentication stack (SSSD, PAM, SSH) and protocols (OIDC, OAuth 2.0, SAML)

• Experience with configuration management at scale (Puppet, Ansible) and scripting/programming (Bash, Python, Go)

• Clear communication skills to explain security decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
