Overview

In this role, you lead the internal control framework for sustainability reporting to ensure accurate and compliant ESG disclosures. You will collaborate with finance and cross-functional teams to embed robust controls, monitor remediation, and drive efficiency through automation. You act as the regulator's watch for new sustainability requirements and implement impactful improvements across systems and processes. You'll work with management to design, test, and maintain controls that safeguard reporting integrity and support strategic sustainability objectives. This is an opportunity to shape Philips' ICSR program and contribute to reliable, transparent reporting at scale.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Design efficient control solutions to ensure policy compliance and reduce material misstatement risk
• Safeguard consistency of disclosure and methodologies across Philips Group
• Monitor regulatory developments in sustainability compliance and embed them company-wide
• Participate in system and project implementations with control or assurance implications
• Work with management and process owners to identify and embed key controls, test them, and ensure effectiveness
• Advise process owners on timely remediation of deficient controls and perform root cause analyses
• Contribute to periodic reporting to senior stakeholders
• Identify opportunities to improve the control framework, including automation

Belangrijkste vereisten

• +5 years of professional experience

• Master's degree in accounting, economics or business

• RA/Chartered Accountant/CPA/RE/CISA

• Prior SOx experience required

• Experience as external auditor (preferably Big 4)

• Affinity for IT, data, and application of AI

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)

• Highly motivated, able to manage in a dynamic environment

• Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills

• Comfortable working in a team and independently, willing to take on responsibility
