Overview

Join FTI Consulting's Transactions practice as a Director/Senior Director to lead mid-size, complex financial due diligence projects and shape deal outcomes. You will work closely with partners and cross-functional teams, mentoring analysts and driving client delivery with a pragmatic, hands-on approach. The role blends project leadership with business development and stakeholder management on both buy-side and sell-side engagements, including cross-border deals. You'll be part of a high-growth, entrepreneurial Amsterdam team that leverages global resources to create impact on deals and transformations.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Take overall lead responsibility for delivering mid-size complex projects, liaising with Partners or managing standalone sections of FDD on larger engagements
• Supervise and mentor Consultants, ensuring quality reviews and accountability for deliverables
• Participate in business development, maintain client catch-ups, identify opportunities and track industry M&A trends
• Foster effective communication with senior team members and clients
• Build and nurture internal and external relationships for long-term growth
• Analyze target's financial performance, considering historical results and future potential
• Understand the business model and key value drivers of evaluated companies
• Deliver due diligence projects with oversight from Senior Managing Director or manage sections within larger projects
• Proactively develop relationships to support growth

Belangrijkste vereisten

• 4+ years of project leadership within Transactions at an accounting firm, boutique, or consultancy (Big 4 a plus)

• Master degree or equivalent in a related field

• Experience executing buy-side and sell-side FDD from start to finish with limited oversight

• Ability to act as a trusted advisor to C-level executives

• Strong analytical skills and mentoring capability for junior staff

• Fluent in English and Dutch
